Chapter 6: Getting to Know Each Other
Part 6
As they sat together under the stars, Y/N began to tell Bakugou more about humans. "We're a species of bipedal creatures that live in cities and towns," she explained. "We have a complex society with governments, schools, and families." Bakugou listened intently, his eyes wide with curiosity. He had so many questions, and Y/N was happy to answer them. "What's a government?" he asked, his brow furrowed in confusion. Y/N smiled. "A government is a group of people who make decisions for a community or country. They help keep everyone safe and make sure everyone has what they need." Bakugou nodded, taking it all in. He was fascinated by the complexity of human society. "What about families?" he asked, his voice filled with curiosity. Y/N's expression softened. "Families are groups of people who care about each other and live together. They can be made up of parents, siblings, and other relatives." Bakugou's thoughts turned to his own life with the gorillas. He had always felt like an outsider, but he had never really understood why. Now, he was starting to realize that it was because he was different. He was human, just like Y/N. As they talked, Y/N pulled out a small notebook and began to draw. Bakugou watched in amazement as she created a simple picture of a human family. "This is what a human family might look like," she explained. Bakugou's eyes widened as he took in the drawing. It was so different from anything he had ever seen before. He reached out a hand, touching the paper gently. "Can I try?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement. Y/N handed him the notebook and a pen. Bakugou tentatively began to draw, his movements awkward at first. But with Y/N's guidance, he quickly improved. Together, they created a simple picture of a gorilla family. As they worked, Bakugou felt a sense of connection to Y/N that he had never felt before. He was grateful to have found someone who understood him, someone who could teach him about his own kind. As the night wore on, Y/N began to teach Bakugou some basic human phrases. "Hello," she said, smiling at him. "Can you repeat after me?" Bakugou nodded, his eyes locked on hers. "Hello," he repeated, his voice a little shaky. Y/N laughed. "That's perfect!" she exclaimed. "Now, let's try something a little harder. How are you?" Bakugou thought for a moment before responding. "How are you?" he repeated, his voice a little more confident. Y/N beamed with pride. "You're a quick learner, Katsuki," she said. As they continued to talk and learn together, Bakugou felt a sense of wonder that he had never felt before. He was excited to learn more about humans and their world, and he was grateful to have Y/N by his side. As the night drew to a close, Bakugou and Y/N settled in for a well-deserved rest. They sat together, watching the stars twinkle overhead, and Bakugou felt a sense of peace that he had never known before. He knew that he had found a true friend in Y/N, and he was excited to see what the future held for them.
