"A Moment of Vulnerability"

Part 9

Izuku's face still felt hot from his earlier encounter with Katsuki, and he couldn't help but replay their conversation in his head. He had been searching for the perfect moment to talk to Katsuki, and now that it had finally arrived, he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. As he sat in the common area, lost in thought, he noticed Katsuki sitting on the couch, watching TV with a relaxed expression. Izuku's heart skipped a beat as he got up and made his way over to Katsuki, trying to appear nonchalant. Katsuki looked up, a hint of a smile on his face as he caught Izuku's gaze. "Hey, Deku," he said, using Izuku's nickname, "what's up?" His eyes sparkled with amusement, and Izuku felt his face grow hot as he sat down next to Katsuki on the couch. Izuku tried to play it cool, but his voice came out shaky. "Not much, Kacchan," he replied, using the affectionate term he had reserved for Katsuki since childhood. Katsuki raised an eyebrow, his expression curious. "What do you want, Midoriya?" he asked, his voice low and smooth. Izuku took a deep breath and reached out, his hand brushing against Katsuki's as he sat down beside him. Katsuki didn't pull away, and Izuku felt a surge of excitement at the gentle touch. "I just wanted to talk to you," Izuku said, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in his stomach. Katsuki looked at him expectantly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "About?" he asked, his voice laced with curiosity. Izuku's heart skipped a beat as he met Katsuki's gaze. He could see the hint of a smile on Katsuki's lips, and his face grew hotter. "About what happened in the alleyway," he whispered, trying to gauge Katsuki's reaction. Katsuki's expression softened, and he leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "You didn't think, or you didn't want to?" he asked, his eyes locked on Izuku's. Izuku's face grew hot as he remembered their earlier conversation. He had been too afraid to say anything, but now he felt like he had to take a chance. "Maybe a little of both," he whispered back, his heart racing with excitement. Katsuki's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and he reached out, his hand brushing against Izuku's face. "I think we're going to have to talk about this later," he said, his voice low and husky. Izuku's face grew even hotter as he felt a spark of electricity run through his body. He knew that he had finally taken the first step towards something new, something exciting. As they sat there in comfortable silence, Izuku couldn't help but steal glances at Katsuki, who was watching him with an amused expression. He felt like he was walking on thin ice, but he couldn't help but be drawn to Katsuki's charismatic presence. Katsuki leaned back on the couch, his eyes never leaving Izuku's face. "You're really something, Deku," he said, his voice laced with amusement. "I have to admit, I'm a little surprised." Izuku's heart skipped a beat as he realized that Katsuki was waiting for him to make the next move. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves, and leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to talk to you, Kacchan." Katsuki's expression softened, and he reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair out of Izuku's face. The touch sent shivers down Izuku's spine, and he felt like he was melting into Katsuki's eyes. The air between them seemed to vibrate with tension, and Izuku knew that he had to be careful. He couldn't help but wonder what Katsuki was thinking, what he was hoping to get out of this conversation. As they sat there in comfortable silence, Izuku realized that he had been given a rare opportunity – a chance to talk to Katsuki one-on-one, without any distractions or interruptions. He knew that he had to make the most of it, and he couldn't help but feel excited about what might happen next. Katsuki's eyes seemed to bore into Izuku's soul, searching for something. Izuku wasn't sure what it was, but he felt like he was on the edge of something big. Something was about to change, and he wasn't sure if he was ready for it. The silence between them grew thicker, until Katsuki finally spoke up, his voice low and husky. "You're really something, Deku," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I have to admit, I'm a little curious." Izuku's heart skipped a beat as he met Katsuki's gaze, his eyes searching for answers. He could feel the weight of Katsuki's gaze on him, and he knew that he had to be careful. One wrong move, and everything could change. But he couldn't help himself. He leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've been wanting to hear those two magic words from you again," he said, his eyes locked on Katsuki's. Katsuki's expression changed, and he looked at Izuku with surprise and curiosity. "Which two magic words are you talking about, Deku?" he asked, his voice laced with amusement. Izuku's face grew hot as he remembered the words Katsuki had spoken to him earlier. "You know," he whispered, his heart racing with excitement. "The ones that mean I have a chance." Katsuki's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and Izuku felt like he was melting into Katsuki's gaze. The air seemed to vibrate with tension as they sat there, inches apart, waiting for the next move. As they sat there in comfortable silence, Izuku knew that he had to take a chance. He reached out, his hand brushing against Katsuki's, and waited for the other shoe to drop.
