**Chapter 9: The Calm Before the Storm**

Part 9

Inho entered the room after what felt like an eternity, his black attire clearly showing signs of wetness, which Myung-gi could only assume was blood, but not his own. The mask he wore when he exited the room was not with him, and he looked calm, almost serene. Myung-gi had given up trying to escape the cuffs long ago, not because he had lost hope, but because he had run out of energy to struggle. Inho looked down at Myung-gi, his gaze piercing, but expressionless. He stared for a second before turning and walking over to a dresser on the other side of the room. "What size clothes do you wear?" he asked, his voice low and smooth. Myung-gi was taken aback by the question, but he answered, "A medium in shirts and pants." He wondered why Inho needed to know his clothing size, but he didn't press the issue. Inho nodded, as if he had expected Myung-gi's answer. "That's what I thought, but I just wanted to be sure." He began to pull out clothes from the dresser, as well as from a box that Myung-gi had not noticed being brought into the room. As Inho collected the clothes, Myung-gi's anxiety grew. What did Inho plan to do with him? Why was he being so calm and collected? Inho took the collected clothes and walked into a connected room, leaving Myung-gi alone for a few moments. When Inho returned, he was holding a stack of clothes. Myung-gi's eyes widened as he realized that Inho was going to make him change. "Don't struggle or run," Inho warned, his eyes glinting with a hint of menace. "It'll only end up with you hurt." Myung-gi felt a surge of fear as Inho approached him. Inho uncuffed Myung-gi's wrists, but kept them in a tight grip, dragging him along to the connected room. As they entered the room, Myung-gi saw that it was a luxurious-looking bathroom. He stumbled, but Inho's grip kept him upright. Myung-gi's mind was racing with questions and fears. What was Inho's plan for him? Was he going to be a part of the games, or was he being prepared for something else? The uncertainty was suffocating, and Myung-gi couldn't shake the feeling that his life was about to take a drastic turn for the worse.
