"A Flash of Fury"

Part 3

Dean Kai's eyes had been fixed on Ray's live stream, a warm smile spreading across his face as he watched the young streamer laugh and joke with his friends. But in an instant, his expression changed to one of shock and rage as Tylil, a fellow student, grabbed Ray and Tota in a choke hold. Kai's heart skipped a beat as he watched, his mind racing with worry and anger. How could this be happening? He had been keeping an eye on Ray, making sure he was safe and adjusting well to university life. Without hesitation, Kai sprang out of his chair, his eyes never leaving the screen as he rushed out of his office. He didn't care about protocol or procedure; all he cared about was getting to Ray and making sure he was safe. He ran as fast as his legs would allow, his heart pounding in his chest. As he burst into the cafeteria, he was met with the sight of Tylil and Bryce pushing Ray and Rakai. Kai's anger boiled over, and he let out a loud, furious scream that echoed throughout the room. "Tylil and Bryce, stop that this instant!" he bellowed, his voice commanding attention. The students turned to see Kai, his face red with rage, his eyes blazing with fury. Tylil and Bryce, still pumped up with anger, took a step back, their faces pale. Ray, Rakai, and Tota looked up at Kai, surprise and relief written on their faces. Kai's gaze locked onto Tylil and Bryce, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity. "Tylil, Ray, Rakai, and Bryce, my office now," he announced, his voice firm and commanding. "And end your live streams." The four students reluctantly shut down their streams and followed Kai to his office, unsure of what lay ahead. As they walked, Kai's mind was racing with thoughts of how he was going to deal with Tylil and Bryce. He had to keep his cool, but it was hard when all he wanted to do was lash out and protect Ray. He knew he had to keep his relationship with Ray a secret, but it was getting harder and harder to do. All he knew was that no one was going to harm Ray without facing consequences. The group filed into Kai's office, the tension palpable. Kai's anger was still simmering just below the surface, and he knew he had to keep a level head if he was going to get to the bottom of this. He took a deep breath and sat down behind his desk, his eyes fixed on Tylil and Bryce. "So, let's talk about what happened," he said, his voice firm but controlled.
