**Chapter 18: Expanding the Family**
Part 18
A year had passed since Jess and Pedro's beautiful wedding, and their life as a married couple had been everything they had dreamed of. They had settled into a comfortable routine, juggling their careers, parenting their twin boys, Kingsley and Leyland, and enjoying each other's company. But as they looked to the future, they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. They had always talked about having a bigger family, and now they felt ready to take the next step. Jess had been feeling a little off lately, and at first, she had brushed it off as exhaustion from work and taking care of the twins. But as the days went by, she started to notice other changes in her body. She was tired all the time, and her senses were heightened. She could smell things from a mile away, and her favorite foods suddenly tasted bland. She took a pregnancy test, and when the results confirmed her suspicions, she was over the moon with excitement. She couldn't wait to tell Pedro. She found him in the backyard, playing with the twins. They were running around, laughing and shouting, and Pedro was chasing after them, laughing. Jess watched for a moment, feeling grateful for the life they had built together. Then, she took a deep breath and approached him. "Hey, love," she said, trying to sound casual. "Can we talk?" Pedro looked up, concern etched on his face. "What's wrong?" he asked, immediately dropping to his knees beside her. Jess smiled and took his hand. "I'm pregnant," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Pedro's face lit up with joy, and he pulled her into a tight hug. "We're having another baby!" he exclaimed, spinning her around in a circle. The twins, oblivious to the excitement, continued to play in the background, but Jess and Pedro didn't care. They were too busy basking in the glow of their new addition. As they started to make plans for the new baby, Jess and Pedro couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. They had done this before, but it was still a new experience. They started to discuss baby names, nursery decor, and all the things they needed to do to prepare for the new arrival. One evening, as they were browsing through baby names online, Pedro turned to Jess with a mischievous grin. "What about Natalia-Rose?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Jess's heart skipped a beat. "I love it," she said, smiling. And so, Natalia-Rose Santos was born, a beautiful little girl with her parents' eyes and a mop of dark hair. Jess and Pedro were overjoyed, and they welcomed their new addition to the family with open arms. As they navigated the challenges of caring for three young children, Jess and Pedro knew that their love was the foundation of their family. They were grateful for every moment they spent together, and they knew that their love would continue to grow and evolve as their family did. The three of them - Kingsley, Leyland, and Natalia-Rose - brought immense joy to Jess and Pedro's lives, and they knew that their family was now complete. They were a happy, chaotic family, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
