The camera cut to District 2, where Cato, one of the quarter quell participants, stood alongside a stunning young woman with long, curly brown hair and piercing green eyes. "From District 2, we have Cato and Enobaria," Plutarch said, and Cato gave a curt nod to the camera. The camera moved on to District 3, where Johanna Mason and a new tribute, a lanky boy with a messy mop of black hair, stood together. "From District 3, we have Johanna Mason and Cassius," Plutarch announced. The camera continued its tour of the districts, showing the tributes from District 4: Clarissa, one of the quarter quell participants, and Finnick Odair, the charming young victor with a talent for seduction. "From District 4, we have Clarissa and Finnick," Plutarch said. The camera cut to District 5, where a boy and girl with haunted expressions stood together. "From District 5, we have Wade and Lily," Plutarch announced. The camera moved on, showing the tributes from District 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. "From District 6, we have Venia and Dalton; from District 7, we have Blight and Camilla; from District 8, we have Zosia and Trigger; from District 9, we have Anais and Varden; from District 10, we have Neta and Brant; and from District 11, we have Rue's sister, Sina, and a young man named Morgran," Plutarch announced. Finally, the camera landed on District 12, where Katniss and Peeta, the other two quarter quell participants, stood together, their faces set in determined expressions. "And from District 12, we have Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark," Plutarch said, his voice dripping with excitement. The camera panned out, showing all 24 tributes standing together, and the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Katniss felt a shiver run down her spine as she gazed out at the sea of faces, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination.
