"A Night In with Friends"

Part 174

I decided to spend the rest of the evening with Todoroki, and we headed to his place to unwind. As we sat down on the couch, he pulled out a TV remote and started flipping through channels. "What do you want to watch?" he asked, looking at me with a hint of curiosity. I shrugged, "I don't mind, what do you want to watch?" Todoroki smiled and landed on a crime show. "I've been meaning to watch this one," he said, settling in. I raised an eyebrow, not sure if I'd enjoy it, but Todoroki assured me it was good. As we started watching, I was surprised to find myself getting drawn into the story. The characters were well-developed, and the plot was engaging. However, there were some parts that made me squirm in my seat - the gory scenes always got to me. I covered my eyes, peeking through my fingers to see what was happening on screen. Todoroki chuckled and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "It's okay, Vesper," he said with a smile. "It's just a show." I nodded, feeling a bit silly, but also grateful that he understood. We watched in silence for a bit, the only sound being the TV and our occasional reactions to what was happening on screen. Just as we were getting to the good part, Mina burst into the room, a big grin on her face. "Hey guys, can we have another sleepover?" she asked, her eyes shining with excitement. Todoroki and I exchanged a look, and I nodded. "That sounds like fun," I said, smiling. Mina squealed and jumped up and down. "Yay! I'll start setting up the room." As we finished watching the show, I started thinking about who else I wanted to invite to the sleepover. I pulled out my phone and started sending out messages to Shinso, Shindo, Mirio, Amajiki, and Nejire. It wasn't long before they all responded, agreeing to come over. The rest of the evening was a blur of excitement and preparation. Mina and I set up the room, making sure there was enough food and drinks for everyone. Todoroki helped us carry in the snacks, and we all chatted excitedly about the sleepover. As the guests started arriving, I couldn't help but feel happy. It was great to have everyone together, and I knew this was going to be a night to remember. Shinso was his usual energetic self, bouncing around the room and making everyone laugh. Shindo and Mirio were quieter, but they fit right in with the group. Amajiki was his usual thoughtful self, observing everything with a curious eye. And Nejire... well, Nejire was just being Nejire, charming and charismatic as always. As we all settled in for the night, I felt grateful for my friends and the memories we were creating together. It was going to be a great night, and I couldn't wait to see what the rest of the evening had in store.
