**Chapter 12: Emily's Shock and Anger**
Part 12
Emily's mind reeled as she processed the news of her pregnancy. She felt like she had been punched in the gut, all the air sucked out of her lungs. She couldn't believe that Coop had manipulated her into getting pregnant, and that she had been so blind to his intentions. The fluorescent light above the sink seemed to hum with an ominous tone, casting an eerie glow on the scene. As she stood there, frozen in shock, Coop's excitement and enthusiasm only added to her distress. His eyes gleamed with a calculating intensity that made her skin crawl. "We're going to have a baby," he repeated, his voice filled with a possessive pride that sent shivers down her spine. Emily felt a wave of panic wash over her, her mind racing with thoughts of how she was going to get out of this situation. But Coop just smiled, his eyes glinting with a knowing look that made her feel trapped. "You and me, Emily," he said, his voice low and husky, his words dripping with an unsettling intimacy. "We're going to make this work. We're going to make this baby a reality, and we're going to make it a family." Emily's anger began to simmer, fueled by the realization that Coop had been using her all along. He had been playing her, manipulating her into getting pregnant so that he could control her. She felt a surge of resentment towards him, and towards herself for being so naive. "How could you do this to me?" Emily demanded, her voice shaking with anger and hurt. "You knew I didn't want to get pregnant, and yet you went ahead and got me pregnant anyway." Coop's smile faltered for a moment, but then he regained his composure. "I did it because I want to be with you, Emily," he said, his voice low and husky. "I want to be with you and our baby, and I want to take care of you both." But Emily knew that his intentions were far from pure. He wasn't trying to take care of her; he was trying to control her. He was trying to tie her to him with the baby, so that she would never be able to leave him. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, and Emily knew that she had to get out of this situation, and fast. As she looked into Coop's eyes, Emily saw a glint of something there, something that made her feel like she was in grave danger. It was a look of possession, of ownership, and it sent a chill down her spine. She knew that she had to escape, but for now, she was at his mercy. "You're not going to control me," Emily said, trying to keep her voice steady, but it trembled with fear. "You're not going to use this baby to keep me tied to you." Coop's eyes narrowed, and for a moment, Emily thought she saw a flash of anger in them. But then he smiled again, and his eyes gleamed with a calculating intensity. "Oh, Emily," he said, his voice low and husky. "You and I are going to be a family, whether you like it or not." Emily felt a wave of despair wash over her, mixed with a deep-seated fear. She was trapped, and she didn't know how to escape. But she knew that she had to try, for her own sake, and for the sake of her unborn child. She knew that she had to get out of this situation, before it was too late.
