# Chapter 1: A Night of Tears and Fury
Part 1
The dimly lit corridors of Streamer University were eerily quiet, with only a few stragglers hurrying to their destinations. Ray, a 19-year-old student from Taiwan, walked swiftly, his short, curly black hair bobbing with each step. His beautiful brown eyes, usually bright and cheerful, were clouded with worry and exhaustion. He had been dealing with a string of mistreatments and harassment from his classmates and even one of his professors, and it was taking a toll on him. As he approached Kai's dorm room, he hesitated for a moment before knocking softly. The door opened, and Kai, the university dean and Ray's secret boyfriend, stood before him with a concerned expression. "Hey, buddy, what's wrong?" Kai asked, his voice low and soothing. Ray sniffled, trying to hold back tears. "I-I just needed to t-talk to you, K-Kai," he stammered, his Asian accent and stuttering problems becoming more pronounced as he struggled to find the right words. Kai's expression softened, and he stepped aside, allowing Ray to enter. "Come in, come in. You're safe here," he said, closing the door behind Ray. The room was cozy, with a large desk and a comfortable-looking bed. Kai gestured for Ray to sit down, and he obliged, trying to compose himself. Kai sat down beside him, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "So, how was your day?" Kai asked, his voice gentle. Ray took a deep breath, trying to summarize his day. "It-it was okay, I-I guess. But, um, some people have been being really mean to me," he said, his voice cracking. Kai's eyes narrowed, his grip on Ray's shoulder tightening. "What do you mean? Who's been bothering you?" Ray hesitated, unsure of how to proceed. But something about Kai's expression encouraged him to open up. "It's, uh, Tylil and Deshae. They've been bullying me in and outside of class. And, um, Professor DDG, he just stood there and let it happen. He even threatened to slap me when I stood up for myself," Ray said, his voice shaking. Kai's face darkened, his jaw clenched in anger. But Ray wasn't finished yet. "And, K-Kai, there's something else," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "What's that?" Kai asked, his voice low and even. Ray took a deep breath before speaking. "It's, um, Tota. My roommate. He's been, uh, trying to touch me when we're sleeping. I-I pushed him away and told him no, but he just kept trying. It's happened more than once," Ray said, his eyes welling up with tears. Kai's expression turned furious, his eyes blazing with anger. He pulled Ray into a tight hug, holding him close as he tried to process the revelation. "I'm so sorry, Ray. No one deserves to be treated like that. I'll take care of it, I promise," Kai said, his voice filled with determination. As Ray cried into Kai's shoulder, he felt a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that Kai would protect him, no matter what it took. But little did he know, this was only the beginning of a storm that would shake the very foundations of Streamer University.
