The Yeti's Name
Part 2
Jasper and Jackson were arguing loudly about what to name the yeti. "I'm telling you, we should name him Boris!" Jasper exclaimed. "No way, that's a stupid name!" Jackson retorted. "We should name him Yeti-Man!" "Yeti-Man is lame!" Jasper shot back. "Boris is a great name. It's strong and powerful, just like him!" "But Yeti-Man is cool!" Jackson insisted. "It's like a superhero name. He can be like, the guardian of the mountains!" "Guardian of the mountains?" Jasper scoffed. "That's cheesy. Boris is a much better name." As the twins continued to argue, John and Emily began to discuss how to best free the yeti. "We'll need to be careful," Emily said, eyeing the various restraints. "We don't want to hurt him." "I agree," John said. "Let's start with the chain around his wrists. That looks like it might be the easiest to remove." The yeti, seemingly aware of their conversation, began to vocalize, his deep rumbling voice echoing through the lobby. "Rrr...help...please..." John and Emily exchanged a sympathetic glance. "Don't worry, big guy," John said. "We're going to get you out of here." As they worked to free the yeti, Olivia wandered over to examine him more closely. As she did, she noticed a name tag on his chest. It read "Harry" in bold letters. "Guys, look at this," Olivia said, pointing to the name tag. The family gathered around, and the yeti's eyes lit up as he saw them looking at the tag. "Harry...yes...that is me." The twins, still arguing, stopped as they heard the yeti's voice. "Wait, so his name is Harry?" Jasper asked. "Yeah, it looks that way," John said, smiling. "But...but we were just arguing about what to name him," Jackson said, looking crestfallen. Jasper grinned. "I guess we didn't have to." The yeti, Harry, chuckled, a deep rumbling sound. "Rrr...thank you...for freeing me...and for calling me Harry." As the family continued to work on releasing Harry from his restraints, they couldn't help but wonder who had tied him up in the first place, and why.
