The Cradle of Kratos
Part 5
A while after the small baby planet awoke, it began wailing, like a loud cry that echoed through the celestial expanse. The sound was loud enough to draw the attention of the other planets, and soon, Earth, Luna, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune had all gathered around to observe. The baby planet's cry seemed to shake the very foundations of their tranquil existence, and they watched with concern as it wailed. Venus, who had been cradling the baby planet, hushed it softly, trying to calm it down. Mercury, who had been watching from a distance, flew closer and began to rub circles on the baby planet's back, trying to soothe its distress. Venus, with her melodious voice, hummed a beautiful lullaby that seemed to match the rhythm of the baby planet's heartbeat. The lullaby was like nothing anyone had ever heard before - a gentle, soothing melody that seemed to wash away the baby planet's fears and worries. As Venus sang, the baby planet's wails began to subside, and it slowly relaxed into her arms. The other planets watched in amazement as the baby planet's surface seemed to calm, its craters and mountains smoothing out as it drifted off into a peaceful slumber. Luna, who had been watching from Earth's arms, felt her own eyelids growing heavy as she listened to the lullaby. She snuggled deeper into Earth's arms, feeling the warmth and comfort of her presence. Before long, Luna had fallen fast asleep, her gentle breathing a soothing accompaniment to Venus's lullaby. As the baby planet continued to relax, it suddenly looked up at Venus and Mercury with its single eye and said, in a small, raspy voice, "Kratos." The other planets gasped in surprise, their eyes wide with wonder. Saturn, who had been watching with curiosity, wondered aloud, "Is that the little planet's name?" Solara, who had been watching from a distance, flew closer to confirm. "Yes, it is indeed the small planet's name," she said with a smile. "And it is a boy planet, named Kratos." The other planets nodded, accepting the new addition to their celestial family. As they gazed at Kratos, they knew that he would bring joy and wonder to their lives, and that he would be a cherished member of their family. The planets stood in silence for a moment, taking in the significance of Kratos's name. Then, as if on cue, they began to murmur among themselves, speculating about the meaning and implications of Kratos's name. Mars wondered if it was a sign of strength and power, while Jupiter pondered if it was a reference to the mythological gods of old. Whatever the meaning, they knew that Kratos was a name that would stay with their new celestial friend for eternity.
