As Noah and Jacquie walked into the room, the group's conversation came to a halt. Noah, who had been chatting with Hunter earlier, gave him a nod of acknowledgement, while Jacquie, who had been busy coordinating the team's schedule, flashed a warm smile at everyone. "Hey, guys! Sorry we're late," Noah said, taking a seat next to Hunter. "We got held up at the coffee shop. What's going on?" Hunter filled them in on the morning's stretching routine, and the group's laughter at his expense. Jacquie chuckled, shaking her head. "I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not as flexible as you, Hunter." With everyone accounted for, Jacquie took a deep breath and announced, "Okay, guys, let's get down to business. As you know, our dance captain, Rachel, had to step down due to personal reasons. We need to elect a new one." The group exchanged glances, and Hunter spoke up, "I think we should have a vote. We want to make sure everyone has a say in who becomes our new dance captain." Jacquie nodded, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen. "I'll write down everyone's name, and then we'll vote. Simple majority wins." As Jacquie began writing, Daniel suggested, "What about Ellie-mae? She's been doing an amazing job with the choreography, and she's always been a great leader." Noah nodded in agreement, "Yeah, Ellie-mae would be perfect. She's got the skills, the passion, and she's always willing to help out." The group began to murmur in agreement, and when Jacquie asked for nominations, Ellie-mae's name was the only one mentioned. "Alright, let's make it official," Jacquie said, distributing the voting papers. "Please write down your vote, and we'll tally them up." As the group voted, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. Finally, Jacquie collected the papers and announced, "The results are in... Ellie-mae is our new dance captain, with a unanimous vote!" The group erupted in cheers and applause, congratulating Ellie-mae on her new role. Hunter grinned, "I think we made an excellent choice. Ellie-mae is going to take our team to new heights." Ellie-mae beamed with pride, her face flushed with happiness. "Thank you, guys! I won't let you down. Let's work together to make this season amazing!"
