Chapter 32: A Bittersweet Farewell

Part 32

As the sun began to set over the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the landscape of Sarasaland, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad knew it was time to bid farewell to their new friend, Princess Daisy. The group gathered in the palace courtyard, surrounded by the gentle rustling of palm trees and the soft chirping of tropical birds. Daisy smiled warmly as she approached the group, her eyes shining with gratitude. "I'm going to miss you all so much," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I know you have to get back to the Mushroom Kingdom. There's always something to be done, isn't there?" Mario nodded, his mustache twirling upwards in a sympathetic smile. "We'll be back soon, Daisy. We promise to visit again soon." Luigi, standing beside his brother, caught Daisy's eye once more. For a moment, they just looked at each other, the air thick with unspoken emotions. Daisy felt her heart skip a beat as she gazed into Luigi's eyes, her pulse racing with excitement. Without warning, Daisy reached out and grasped Luigi's arm, her fingers wrapping around his wrist. "Wait," she said, her voice low and husky. "I want to give you something before you go." Luigi's eyes widened in surprise as Daisy leaned in, her lips brushing against his cheek. He felt a flush rise to his face as she kissed him again, and again, each kiss sending shivers down his spine. Mario, Peach, and Toad watched in stunned silence as Daisy continued to kiss Luigi, her affection for him plain as day. Luigi's face grew hotter and hotter, his eyes darting around the courtyard as he tried to process what was happening. But despite his initial shock, Luigi couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. He had secretly harbored feelings for Daisy for a while now, and it seemed that she felt the same way. As Daisy finally pulled back, Luigi's face was flushed and his eyes were shining with happiness. "D-Daisy," he stuttered, his voice barely above a whisper. Daisy smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I like you very much, Luigi," she said, her voice low and husky. "And I wanted to make sure you knew that before you left." Luigi's face grew even hotter as he stumbled over his words, his heart racing with excitement. Mario, Peach, and Toad, meanwhile, looked on with wide eyes, unsure of what to make of the sudden display of affection. As the group finally said their goodbyes and boarded the Warp Pipe, Luigi couldn't help but feel a sense of elation. He knew that he would never forget this moment, this feeling of being desired and appreciated by the lovely Princess Daisy. And as the pipe whisked them away to the Mushroom Kingdom, Luigi couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him and his new love.
