**Chapter 2: The Weight of Secrets**

Part 2

The warm sunlight streaming through the gym's windows highlighted the dust motes dancing in the air as Isaac took to the court. The familiar sound of squeaking sneakers and the murmur of conversation from the coaching staff created a sense of normalcy, but Isaac's mind was far from it. He couldn't shake off the feeling of being on edge, his senses heightened as he scanned the court for any sign of Neil. As he began to run through the drills, Isaac's thoughts drifted back to the test results. He had stuffed the paper in his locker, too afraid to look at it again. The possibility of being pregnant hung over him like a specter, casting a shadow over everything he did. He felt like he was living in a dream, one that he couldn't wake up from. Andrew, their team captain, called out instructions as they rotated through the drills, but Isaac's ears tuned him out. He was too busy trying to focus on the movements, his body going through the motions on autopilot. Neil, on the other hand, seemed completely in his element, his movements fluid and confident as he worked through the exercises. As they took a break to rehydrate, Isaac found himself gravitating towards the water cooler, his eyes fixed on Neil's back. He couldn't help but notice the way the sweat-soaked fabric clung to Neil's shoulders, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. The memory of their night together came flooding back, and Isaac felt his face heat up. Just as he was about to turn away, Neil caught his eye, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Isaac's heart skipped a beat as he wondered if Neil could see the secrets he was keeping. But Neil's expression was neutral, giving nothing away. The sound of Andrew's voice broke the spell, and Isaac turned to see their captain handing out assignments for the upcoming game. As he listened, Isaac's mind began to wander again. What would happen if Neil found out about the pregnancy? Would he even care? The thought sent a shiver down Isaac's spine, and he felt a surge of anxiety. He needed to talk to someone, but who? Andrew was his best friend on the team, but could he trust him with this secret? As practice drew to a close, Isaac felt a sense of relief wash over him. He just wanted to get out of there, to clear his head and figure out his next move. But as he turned to leave the court, he caught sight of Neil waiting by the exit, his eyes fixed intently on Isaac. For a moment, they just looked at each other, the air thick with unspoken tension. Then, without a word, Neil turned and walked away, leaving Isaac feeling both relieved and frustrated. What was he supposed to do now? And what would happen when Neil finally found out the truth?
