**Chapter 1: Behind the Scenes**
Part 1
The bright California sun beat down on the movie set, casting a warm glow over the bustling crew and cast. Helen Le, a skilled and unassuming makeup artist, worked diligently to perfect the day's look for the lead actor, Lewis Pullman. She had worked on numerous sets before, but there was something about Lewis that caught her attention. Maybe it was the way he effortlessly commanded the attention of everyone around him, or perhaps it was the way his piercing blue eyes seemed to see right through her. Helen had always been indifferent to actors, viewing them as untouchable and self-absorbed. She had worked with plenty of them before, but they always seemed to be surrounded by an air of glamour and entitlement. Lewis, however, seemed different. He was charming and kind to everyone on set, but Helen couldn't help but feel like he was out of her league. As she worked on Lewis's makeup, Helen couldn't help but steal glances at him. He was even more handsome up close, with chiseled features and a strong jawline. But it was his eyes that really drew her in - they sparkled with a warmth and kindness that put her at ease. Despite her growing fascination with Lewis, Helen tried to keep her professional distance. She had seen how actors could be, with their entourages and admirers fawning over them at every turn. She didn't think she was the type of person Lewis would notice, let alone be interested in. As Lewis began to rehearse his lines, Helen stepped back to observe him. He was in his element, fully immersed in the character he was playing. She watched, captivated, as he brought the scene to life with his nuanced expressions and gestures. The director, a seasoned veteran of the industry, called "cut" and Lewis turned to Helen with a smile. "How's it looking?" he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Helen smiled back, trying to play it cool. "You look great, Lewis. Just a few more touches and you'll be good to go." As she worked her magic, Helen couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. She quickly pushed the feeling aside, telling herself she was being ridiculous. Lewis Pullman was a movie star, after all. He didn't have time for someone like her. The rest of the day flew by in a blur of rehearsals, takes, and rewrites. As the sun began to set, Lewis turned to Helen and thanked her for her hard work. "You're a genius, Helen," he said, his eyes sparkling with sincerity. Helen felt her heart skip a beat. No one had ever called her a genius before. She smiled, trying to play it cool. "Just doing my job, Lewis." As the crew began to pack up, Helen couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had a feeling that working with Lewis Pullman was going to be a very interesting experience. Little did she know, it would change her life forever.
