Laughter and Liberation

Part 146

As we continue to bask in the joy of our impromptu dance party, the attention turns to Ochaco, who's been watching us with a wide smile on her face. "It's your turn, Ochaco," Sera says, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Truth or dare?" Ochaco's face lights up with excitement. "Dare," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. Sera grins. "Alright, here's your dare," she says, a sly smile spreading across her face. "You have to sing a silly song in front of everyone, and you have to make up the lyrics on the spot." Ochaco's eyes widen in surprise, but she doesn't hesitate. She takes a deep breath, clears her throat, and starts singing. Her voice is sweet and melodious, and she's actually a pretty good singer. But the lyrics she's coming up with are completely ridiculous, and we all burst out laughing. She starts singing about Deku's weird hair, and how Kirishima's Quirk makes him look like a giant red monster. She sings about Bakugo's grumpy face, and how Mina's love of sweets makes her a walking sugar factory. The room is in stitches, and even Deku is laughing along with everyone else. Ochaco's getting more and more into it, using silly voices and exaggerated expressions to bring her lyrics to life. As she sings, Sero starts to join in, adding his own silly harmonies and beats. The two of them are having the time of their lives, and we're all feeding off their energy. Shinso, however, looks like he's about to die of embarrassment. He's hiding behind his hair again, and I can see his face turning bright red. As for me, I'm laughing along with everyone else, feeling a bit more at ease now that I'm not the center of attention. But then, Ochaco catches my eye and winks at me. She's daring me to join in, and I know I have to take the challenge. I take a deep breath, and then start singing along with Ochaco and Sero. My voice is a bit shaky at first, but as we all start to harmonize, our silly song fills the room, and we're all lost in the joy of the moment. The music and laughter continue to flow, and for a moment, we forget about our worries and our troubles. We're just a group of friends, having fun and enjoying each other's company. And as I look around at their smiling faces, I know that this is a moment I'll never forget.
