"Consumed by Possessiveness"
Part 23
Kyle's eyes gleamed with an intense light as he gazed at Emily, his fingers still woven through her hair. He had never felt this way about anyone before, this overwhelming need to possess and protect. But as he looked at Emily, he couldn't shake off the feeling that she had been with someone else before him. The thought made his stomach churn with anger and jealousy. "Tell me about him," Kyle said, his voice low and menacing. Emily's eyes widened in alarm as she tried to process the sudden change in Kyle's demeanor. "Who?" she asked, trying to play dumb. "Don't play games with me, Emily," Kyle warned, his grip on her hair tightening. "I know you had a boyfriend before me. Tell me about him." Emily took a deep breath and tried to explain, but Kyle's expression only darkened. "His name was Ryan," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We were together for a few years, but it didn't work out." Kyle's eyes flashed with anger. "How many times did you sleep with him?" he demanded, his voice rising. Emily's eyes welled up with tears. "Kyle, please understand—" "Understand?" Kyle's laughter was cold and mirthless. "You think I can understand that you were with someone else, that you gave yourself to him before me?" Emily tried to explain, but Kyle wasn't listening. He was too consumed by his own jealousy and possessiveness. He felt like he was losing his grip on reality, like he was drowning in a sea of emotions. As he gazed at Emily, he saw her in a different light. She was no longer the submissive, willing partner he had known just moments before. Now, she was a reminder of his own inadequacy, a reminder that he wasn't the first man to claim her. Kyle's grip on her hair tightened, and he pulled her close, his lips brushing against her ear. "You belong to me now," he whispered, his voice low and menacing. "Only me. Do you understand?" Emily nodded, tears streaming down her face. She knew that she had to tread carefully, that Kyle's possessiveness was a fragile thing. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that scared her - a deep-seated need to control, to dominate. And she wondered if she had made a terrible mistake.
