"A New Life in Seoul"
Part 1
Sammy Hanson stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her bright pink hair clips as she took a deep breath. Today was her first full day as an intern at YG Entertainment, and she couldn't believe her luck. She had always been a huge fan of K-pop, and now she was going to be working alongside some of the industry's biggest stars. She chuckled to herself, thinking about how her friends back in Florida would never believe her if she told them she was interning at YG. As she grabbed her bag and headed out the door, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. She had been in Seoul for two weeks now, and everything about the city still felt surreal. From the bustling streets of Myeong-dong to the trendy cafes in Hannam-dong, Sammy was loving every minute of her new life. She arrived at YG Entertainment's headquarters, a sleek and modern building in the heart of Gangnam. Sammy had been assigned to work with Lee Chaelin, also known as CL from 2NE1, and she was both thrilled and intimidated by the opportunity. As she rode the elevator to the top floor, she couldn't help but think about how she had idolized CL and 2NE1 since she first discovered their music. The elevator doors opened, and Sammy was immediately greeted by a friendly face. "Annyeonghaseyo, Sammy!" CL exclaimed, walking towards her with a bright smile. "Welcome to YG! I'm so glad you're here. Let's get started, shall we?" Sammy followed CL to her office, where she was introduced to the rest of the team. As they worked through the morning, Sammy was amazed by the amount of work that went into managing a K-pop idol's career. From scheduling appearances to coordinating music videos, every detail seemed to be meticulously planned and executed. At lunchtime, CL took Sammy to a nearby restaurant, where they chatted about everything from music to fashion to their shared love of Korean food. Sammy was surprised by how down-to-earth and relatable CL was, despite being one of the most famous women in K-pop. As they finished their lunch and headed back to the office, Sammy caught a glimpse of a familiar face. Choi Seung Hyun, also known as T.O.P from BigBang, was walking down the hallway, looking as handsome and charming as he did in his music videos. Sammy felt her heart skip a beat as their eyes met, and she quickly looked away, trying to play it cool. CL noticed her reaction and raised an eyebrow. "You like BigBang, don't you?" she teased, smiling mischievously. Sammy's face turned bright red as she nodded sheepishly. "I might have a bit of a bias towards T.O.P," she admitted, trying to laugh it off. CL chuckled and patted her on the back. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. But you might want to be careful around him. He's a bit... intense." Sammy raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Intense?" she repeated, trying to get more information out of CL. But CL just smiled and shook her head. "Let's just say that T.O.P is a unique individual. You'll see what I mean soon enough." As the day went on, Sammy couldn't help but wonder what CL meant by "intense." She had always thought of T.O.P as charming and funny, but there was something about the way CL said it that made her curious. And as she caught glimpses of T.O.P throughout the day, she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest. She had a feeling that this internship was going to be a lot more interesting than she had anticipated.
