The Fall of Hans
Part 1
The French dignitary's ship sailed through the choppy waters of the fjords, carrying a most unwelcome passenger - Hans, the treacherous prince from the Southern Isles. The once charming and suave prince was now a shadow of his former self, his mind unraveling with each passing day. His crimes had finally caught up with him, and now he was bound for the Southern Isles to face justice. As the ship approached the shores of the Southern Isles, Hans's mental state continued to deteriorate. He was thrown into a damp, dimly lit cell in the brig, with little to no comforts. The cold, hard stone beneath him was his only solace, a constant reminder of his downfall. Days turned into weeks, and Hans's condition worsened. He became a concern for the authorities, who struggled to keep him contained. His once sharp mind was now clouded with paranoia and delusions, making him a danger to himself and others. Back in the Southern Isles, Lars, Hans's brother, received news of his sibling's condition. He was not surprised, given Hans's history of manipulation and deceit. However, Lars did feel a sense of responsibility towards his brother, despite his wrongdoings. He decided to contact Anna, the Queen of Arendelle, who had been wronged by Hans more than anyone else. Anna, still harboring anger and resentment towards Hans, was reluctant to agree to help him. However, she eventually relented, out of a sense of duty and concern for her kingdom. She set out for the Southern Isles, determined to help Hans, but also to ensure that he did not pose a threat to her people. As Anna arrived in the Southern Isles, she was greeted by the harsh and unforgiving landscape. The kingdom was a very unhappy place, with King Westergard ruling with an iron fist. His people lived in poverty, heavily taxed and brutally suppressed. The royal family was just as cruel, with King Westergard's sons, except for Lars and Caleb, being just as ruthless. Anna's first stop was the prison cell where Hans was being held. She was shocked by his condition, restrained to a bed, his mind broken and battered. She ordered medicine to be administered to him, and he was given a sedative to calm him down. As the days passed, Anna realized that Hans needed more than just medicine to recover. She decided to try and get him out of his restraints, but it was a difficult process. With the help of a few guards, they managed to free him. As Hans was freed from his restraints, Anna was shocked by the state of his wrists. They were raw and red, rubbed chafed and sore from the restraints. He needed immediate attention, and Anna ordered a basin and pitcher of water to be brought to her. She gently poured the warm water into the basin and began to wash Hans's body. She carefully cleaned his arms, his torso, his back, and his armpits. She wiped down his face, and Hans had a relapse, becoming agitated and violent. But Anna was patient and gentle, talking softly to calm him down. As she continued to care for Hans, he had multiple relapses. He became aggressive and abusive, but Anna remained calm and composed. She was determined to help him, no matter how difficult the task seemed. Despite the challenges, Anna persisted, and slowly but surely, Hans began to show signs of improvement. He started to respond to her presence, and his mental state began to stabilize. It was a long and arduous journey, but Anna was determined to help Hans find redemption, and perhaps, a chance to make amends for his past mistakes.
