**The Aftermath of Protection**

Part 11

The memories flooded back to Julie as she sat up in bed, Yoongi's words echoing in her mind. She was a security guard, and she had been stabbed by a fan who thought she was a threat to one of the members. The fan had been obsessed and had snapped, attacking her in a moment of madness. Luckily, she had been able to protect herself, but not without sustaining serious injuries. As she thought back on that day, her mind still reeling from the shock, Julie remembered the chaos that had ensued. She had been working at the concert venue, ensuring everyone's safety, when the fan had attacked her. It was a blur of events, but she recalled trying to defend herself, and then...nothing. Julie's eyes drifted back to Yoongi and Jimin, her heart swelling with gratitude for their presence and concern for her well-being. She tried to recall the events leading up to her hospitalization but her memories were hazy. "Yoongi," she said softly, her voice cracking slightly. "What happened to the fan? Is he...?" Yoongi's expression turned somber. "He's in custody," he replied. "The police were quick to respond, and he was subdued before he could cause any more harm. But you...you were the one who was hurt trying to protect the members. You were stabbed multiple times, Julie." Julie's eyes widened as she processed the information, a mix of emotions swirling inside her. She was relieved that the fan was no longer a threat, but a wave of sadness washed over her as she thought about the events leading up to her hospitalization. "Jimin," she whispered, her gaze drifting back to her friend. "How did he take it?" Yoongi's eyes filled with compassion. "He was devastated," he said. "He kept blaming himself for not being able to protect you sooner. But it wasn't his fault, Julie. You were doing your job, and that fan just snapped." Julie's eyes pricked with tears as she thought about Jimin's reaction. She had always known he was protective of those he cared about, but she had never seen him so consumed by fear and worry. She reached out and gently touched his arm, trying to convey her gratitude and love. Just then, Jimin stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he looked up at Julie with a mixture of exhaustion and adoration. "Hey," he whispered, his voice hoarse from lack of sleep. Julie's face softened into a gentle smile. "Hey," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Jimin's gaze lingered on hers, his eyes filling with love and concern. "I'm so sorry, Julie," he said, his voice cracking with emotion. "I should have been able to protect you better." Julie's heart swelled with love for her friend. She reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair out of his face, trying to reassure him. "You did everything you could," she said. "It's not your fault." As Jimin's eyes locked onto hers, Julie could see the exhaustion and worry etched on his face. She knew that he needed rest, and she also knew that she had to reassure him that she was okay.
