Chapter 30: Morning's Awakening

The warmth of Kenzy's body was no longer wrapped around him, and Levi's eyes fluttered open to an unfamiliar darkness. He lay there for a moment, disoriented, as his mind struggled to recall where he was and what had happened. As his memories returned, a smile crept onto his face, remembering the intensity of their lovemaking and the peaceful sleep that had followed. As he sat up, his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the room, and he noticed that Kenzy was no longer beside him. He looked around, and his gaze landed on the bathroom door, which was slightly ajar. The sound of running water and soft humming caught his attention, and he realized that Kenzy must be in the shower. Levi swung his legs over the side of the bed and planted his feet firmly on the ground. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and stood up, his body still feeling the aftershocks of their exertions. He walked over to the bathroom door and pushed it open, revealing Kenzy standing under the warm spray of the shower. The steam-filled room created a misty veil around her, but Levi's eyes were drawn to her silhouette, her curves and contours illuminated by the soft light. He watched, transfixed, as she moved under the water, her hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of night. Kenzy seemed lost in her own world, oblivious to his presence. Levi's gaze roamed over her body, taking in the sight of her soapy skin and the way the water droplets clung to her like tiny diamonds. He felt a stirring within him, a familiar hunger that flared to life at the sight of her. As he stood there, frozen in the doorway, Kenzy suddenly turned, her eyes meeting his through the steam-filled air. A smile spread across her face, and she beckoned him to join her, her hand extended through the water. Levi's feet seemed to move of their own accord, carrying him towards the shower as if drawn by an unseen force. He stepped under the warm spray, feeling the water envelop him like a soothing blanket. Kenzy moved into his arms, her body fitting perfectly against his, and they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, as the water washed away the remnants of the night. In that moment, everything felt right with the world, and Levi knew that he was exactly where he was meant to be – with Kenzy, in the shower, under the warm spray of the water, surrounded by the intimacy and love that they shared.
