**Confronting the Enemy Within**
Part 77
I push my chair back and stand up, my eyes scanning the room until they land on Katsuki, who's sitting with a smug expression on his face. I can feel the tension in the air, the weight of my friends' expectations on my shoulders, but I'm not going to let that dictate my actions. I'm going to take control of this situation, no matter how difficult it may be. I take a deep breath and walk towards Katsuki, my footsteps echoing through the room. My friends watch me with a mix of concern and curiosity, but I don't look back. I'm focused on the boy who's been my rival, my friend, and my thorn in the side for so long. As I approach Katsuki, he looks up at me with a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "What's up, Deku?" he asks, his tone dripping with sarcasm. I stand in front of him, my eyes locked onto his, and say firmly, "We need to talk." Katsuki's smirk falters for a moment, and I see a flicker of surprise in his eyes. But he quickly recovers, standing up to match my gaze. "Oh, do we?" he says, his voice laced with mockery. I nod, my jaw clenched. "Yes, we do." The room around us falls silent, my friends watching with bated breath as I confront Katsuki. I can feel Ochaco's eyes on me, her grip on my hand still tight with concern. But I'm not here to talk to her, or Kirishima, or anyone else. I'm here to talk to Katsuki, to get to the bottom of whatever scheme he's cooked up. Katsuki shrugs, a careless smile spreading across his face. "Fine, Deku. Let's talk. What do you want to discuss?" I take a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. I know that I'm walking into a minefield, but I'm not going to back down. I'm going to confront Katsuki, to find out what's going on, and to make sure that he's not going to hurt anyone I care about. "Let's go outside," I say, my voice firm. Katsuki raises an eyebrow, but he nods. "Sure thing, Deku. Lead the way." I turn and walk away, Katsuki following closely behind me. We exit the room, leaving my friends and classmates behind. The cool air outside envelops us, but I can still feel the tension between us, like a live wire waiting to spark. As we walk further away from the building, I turn to Katsuki, my eyes locked onto his. "What's going on, Katsuki?" I ask, my voice low and even. Katsuki grins, but I can see the faintest glimmer of unease in his eyes. "Whatever do you mean, Deku?" he asks, his voice dripping with innocence. I take a step closer to him, my heart pounding in my chest. "Don't play dumb, Katsuki. I know something's going on. And I'm going to find out what it is."
