Part 8
The stars above seemed to twinkle in sync with the racing of Kenzy's heart as Levi's eyes locked onto hers. The air was still charged with the unspoken emotions that had been building between them, and Kenzy couldn't help but feel like she was standing at the edge of a precipice, staring into the unknown. Levi's gaze seemed to burn with an inner intensity, and Kenzy felt like she was drowning in the depths of his eyes. He took a step closer to her, his voice low and husky as he spoke. "Look, Kenzy," he said, his words dripping with a possessive tone. "You're mine. Understand? Not Erwin's, not anyone else's. Mine." Kenzy's breath caught in her throat as she met his gaze. She felt a shiver run down her spine as he reached out, his fingers brushing against her cheek. His touch sent sparks flying through her body, and she knew that she was in trouble. "If any man comes close to you, I want you to call me," Levi continued, his voice firm. "I don't care if it's Erwin, or some stranger on the street. If you're in a situation that makes you uncomfortable, you pick up the phone and dial my number. Do you understand?" Kenzy nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt like she was being claimed, like Levi was staking his territory and warning off any potential rivals. A part of her was uneasy with the idea, but another part of her couldn't deny the thrill of excitement that ran through her veins. As Levi's eyes searched hers, Kenzy felt like she was drowning in their depths. She saw something there, something that looked almost like...possessiveness. And she knew that she had to make a decision. Was she going to let Levi claim her, or was she going to try and walk away? The silence between them grew thicker, until Kenzy felt like she was suffocating under its weight. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "I understand," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. Levi's eyes seemed to bore into hers, as if searching for something. And then, in a movement that was almost imperceptible, he nodded. His gaze lingered on hers for a moment longer, before he turned and strode away, leaving Kenzy standing alone in the courtyard. As she watched him go, Kenzy couldn't help but wonder what she had just gotten herself into. She felt like she was standing on the edge of a cliff, staring into the unknown. And she wasn't sure if she was ready to take the leap.
