**Chapter 2: A Chance to Make a Good Impression**

Part 2

As we walked to the nearby café, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. The sun was shining, casting a warm glow over the sidewalk, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, enticing me to take a deep breath. Will, being the gentleman he was, held the door open for me and gestured for me to enter first. I smiled my thanks and walked into the café, feeling a little like a princess being escorted by her prince. Inside, the café was cozy and intimate, with soft music playing in the background and the aroma of coffee and baked goods filling the air. Will ordered us a couple of lattes and we sat down at a small table by the window, taking a seat on plush cushions that seemed to envelop us in comfort. As we waited for our drinks to arrive, Will turned to me and smiled. "So, Jess, what do you do?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with interest. I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. But there was something about Will that put me at ease, something that made me feel like I could be myself around him. "I'm a writer," I said, smiling. "Or at least, I try to be. I'm working on a novel, but it's slow going." Will's eyes lit up. "No way! I've always been a huge fan of books. What's your novel about?" I launched into a enthusiastic explanation of my story, and Will listened intently, asking insightful questions and making thoughtful comments. As we talked, I discovered that we shared a love for movies and music, and our conversation flowed effortlessly. As we sipped our lattes, Will told me about his latest film project, and I listened, captivated by his passion and creativity. I couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to him, how much we had in common. It was as if we had known each other for years, not just minutes. As we finished our drinks, Will glanced at his watch and stood up. "I'm so sorry, Jess, but I have a private screening of my new film tonight and I was wondering if you'd like to join me." My heart skipped a beat. A private screening? With Will Poulter? It was a chance to see him in a whole new light, to experience his talent up close and personal. "I'd love to," I said, trying to sound casual. Will smiled and offered me his arm. "Great! I'll pick you up at 7pm. And don't worry, it's going to be a very exclusive event. Just us." As we walked out of the café, I felt like I was walking on air. A private screening with Will Poulter? It was a dream come true. And as we stood on the sidewalk, saying our goodbyes, I couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store for me. Will leaned in, his face inches from mine. "I'm really looking forward to tonight, Jess," he said, his voice low and husky. I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "Me too," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. As he walked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement, a sense of anticipation. What would the night bring? And what would happen when the lights went down and we were alone together?
