## Chapter Five: Reckless Abandon

Part 1

The Avengers' compound was buzzing with life, the sound of laughter and music filling the air as Vivienne walked alongside Natasha, chatting and giggling like old friends. Bucky watched from across the room, his eyes fixed on Vivienne as she moved through the crowd with ease, her presence commanding attention. Vivienne and Natasha made their way to the kitchen, where Wanda was busy cooking up a storm, the delicious smells of food wafting through the air. Sam and Bucky sat at a table, trying to engage in conversation, but Bucky's eyes kept drifting back to Vivienne. Just then, Tony burst into the room, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Hey, everyone! I decided we're having a party tonight. Fancy dress, great food, and amazing music. It's going to be epic!" The room fell silent, with everyone staring at Tony in surprise. Steve rubbed his temples, muttering, "Tony, we don't always need to have a party." But Tony was undeterred. "Come on, it'll be fun! We can let loose and have a good time." Vivienne and Natasha exchanged a look, and then started getting ready together in Vivienne's room. As they dressed, Vivienne opened up to Natasha about her past, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was in Hydra with Bucky," she said, her eyes clouding over. "They experimented on us, pushed us to our limits. But I...I have powers, Nat. Elemental control. Fire, water, air, frost, and shadow." As she spoke, she raised her hand, and the room was filled with a beautiful glow of elements, the air crackling with energy. Natasha's eyes widened in amazement. "No one else knows except Bucky, Strange, Fury, and now you," Vivienne said, her voice low. Natasha smiled, and the two of them finished getting ready, Vivienne wearing a stunning dress with a slit up the side, and Natasha in a flowing gown that showcased her curves. As they made their way down to the main area of the compound, the music and laughter grew louder, the room filled with people chatting and dancing. Vivienne and Natasha joined the crowd, and Vivienne was immediately swept up in the excitement, laughing and joking with the other Avengers. Bucky watched from the sidelines, his eyes fixed on Vivienne as she moved through the crowd with ease. He felt a pang of jealousy as he saw her laughing and smiling with the others, but he pushed it aside, focusing on his own emotions. Just then, Tony appeared, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Alright, everyone! We're going to play a game. Each person can ask anyone a question, and that person has to answer truthfully." The room erupted into a flurry of questions, with Vivienne being asked about her past and her powers. She answered easily, her voice confident and clear. Sam asked her about her time in other universes, and Vivienne's eyes sparkled as she began to explain. "I was pulled away from you all on a mission," she said. "I was taken into a forest, and a portal opened up. I was pulled into another Earth, one similar to this one but different. Everyone had powers like mine, and I learned so much in the 15 years I was there." The room was captivated by her story, and Vivienne's voice was filled with emotion as she spoke. "I was able to travel to more universes after that, and I finally decided to settle down. I had friends, a relationship...I even started singing." The room fell silent, with everyone's eyes fixed on Vivienne in shock. Natasha, Maria, and Wanda were all staring at her, their faces alight with excitement. "You're...you're Vivi Calloway," Natasha breathed. Vivienne grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "The one and only." The room erupted into cheers and applause, with everyone clamoring to hear more about Vivienne's music. And as the night wore on, Vivienne's songs became more and more revealing, with Bucky's emotions growing stronger and more turbulent. As the party wound down, Vivienne made her way back to her room, Bucky following closely behind her. He waited until she was inside, and then he pushed her against the wall, his body pressing into hers. "Do you know what you did to me?" he growled, his metal hand slamming into the wall beside her head. Vivienne's eyes widened, but she didn't back down. "What did I do, Bucky?" Bucky's eyes burned with fury and desire. "You left me," he snarled, his voice low and menacing. "You ruined me, and I still want you." And with that, he crashed his mouth into hers, his kiss punishing and possessive. Vivienne's eyes fluttered closed, and she felt herself being pulled into the vortex of Bucky's emotions, unsure of what the future held, but certain that it would be reckless and wild.
