Chapter 34: The Dark Portal Unleashed

Part 34

The simulation was about to begin, and Aizawa-sensei was explaining the rules and objectives. I tried to focus on his words, but my mind kept wandering back to the encounter with Shigaraki. I was still on edge, my senses heightened as I scanned the surroundings. As Aizawa-sensei finished his instructions, I noticed Ochaco pointing at something in the distance. "What's that?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. I followed her gaze and felt my heart sink. A dark purple portal had appeared on the horizon, pulsating with an eerie energy. Before we could react, a figure emerged from the portal. It was Shigaraki, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. But that was not all. Following closely behind him was a huge army of villains, their faces twisted with cruel intent. My instincts kicked in, and I felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins. Before we could even process the situation, Kurogiri appeared, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light. With a wave of his hand, he teleported us into groups, splitting us up. I found myself in the middle of a group, surrounded by Ochaco, Ida, Kirishima, Tokoyami, and Sato. The sudden separation from my other friends sent a pang of worry through me, but I pushed it aside, focusing on the immediate threat. Shigaraki's eyes locked onto us, and he smiled, his voice dripping with malice. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The students of U.A. High School, all split up and vulnerable." I gritted my teeth, my hand instinctively going to my hero suit's utility belt. We were in for a fight, and I was ready to defend my friends and myself against whatever villains came our way. "Let's move," Tokoyami said, his voice firm. "We need to take down Shigaraki and his minions." The others nodded in agreement, and we charged forward, our hero suits glowing with determination. But as we clashed with the villains, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were in for a lot more than we bargained for. The sheer number of villains was overwhelming, and I wondered if we could hold our own against such a massive force. Shigaraki's laughter echoed through the air, sending shivers down my spine. This was going to be a battle for the ages.
