"A New Life Bursts Forth"
Part 2
As Hange's excitement continued to build, I found myself getting swept up in his emotions. His joy was like a tidal wave, crashing over me and lifting me up on its crest. I whimpered and snuggled deeper into his shirt, unsure of what was happening, but knowing that I was safe with him. Hange's fingers continued to explore my stomach, tracing the contours of the eggs that seemed to be growing inside me. I felt a strange, tingling sensation, like tiny sparks of electricity dancing across my skin. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, like standing on the edge of a great precipice, staring out into the unknown. As the moments passed, Hange's murmurs turned into soft, soothing words, a gentle litany of comfort and reassurance. He told me that everything would be okay, that he would take care of me and our little ones. I didn't know what he meant, but his voice was like a warm balm, soothing my frazzled nerves and calming my racing heart. Suddenly, Hange's body tensed again, and he let out a low, rumbling growl. I felt a jolt of fear, but he quickly wrapped his arms around me, holding me close. "It's okay, little one," he whispered, his voice full of calm. "This is just the eggs responding to my presence. They're stirring, getting ready to hatch." I didn't understand what he meant, but Hange's words were like a key, unlocking a deep well of trust and faith within me. I knew that he would take care of me, that he would protect me and our little ones from harm. As the moments passed, Hange's body began to glow with a soft, golden light. I felt a strange, buzzing energy building inside me, like a thousand tiny wings beating in unison. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, like standing on the edge of a great precipice, staring out into the unknown. And then, in an instant, everything changed. The golden light surged forward, filling the room with an intense, pulsating glow. I felt a sudden, searing pain, like a thousand tiny needles pricking my skin. And then, in an instant, it was over. Hange's arms tightened around me, holding me close as I trembled with shock and wonder. I looked up at him, my eyes wide with fear and excitement. "What just happened?" I whimpered, my voice barely audible. Hange's face broke into a wide, joyous smile. "Our little ones have hatched, my love," he whispered, his voice full of wonder. "We have dragon babies."
