**Subathon Sabotage**

Part 1

Jason was streaming a "date" with a girl on stream at the beach at night, around 11:00 PM. They had taken an Uber and were streaming this date for thousands of people. To start, they were painting cute pictures while conversing. It was a little awkward since Jason was so burnt out from streaming for so long - 23 days straight, night and day. He was getting sick of it, but he had to pull through for the content. Jason had set this whole thing up, getting tea lit candles, pumpkins, snacks, paint, and canvases, as well as the camera and light. He had gone on dozens of dates on streams before, and all of the women were beautiful, but he already had his eyes on someone or some other people, more specifically. The date was going smoothly until a guy started to approach them. If this were any other time at the beach, such as daytime, it would be okay, but the beach was empty except for the three of them. The man from afar looked just like Jason's coworker and friend Silky, but as he approached, it was obviously not him. Silky had beautiful dark skin and shiny grills, always taking good care of himself and presenting himself in a good manner. The man approaching them was white and had sunken-in eyes, tall and lanky, and looked like he hadn't bathed in days. Jason laughed at first, honestly thinking Silky was going to "steal" another girl from him on stream, like he had dozens of times before. But as this man approached, he screamed at Jason, something along the lines of "STOP QUOTING MY THOUGHTS." He continued to shout that same phrase multiple times, scaring Jason and the girl in front of him. The chat was freaking out, spamming "L Script" and "Kiss" since there was a girl. As the man came into view of the camera, he screamed at Jason, calling him the F slur. He then picked up a pumpkin and threw it at Jason's head. The stem of the pumpkin hit him, causing him to bleed down the side of his face. It then bounced off his face and hit the camera, making it go black, but still allowing them to hear. The girl decided to run away after seeing the violent act. The initial blow of the pumpkin gave Jason a concussion. He lay in the sand, dazed and confused, his head feeling heavy and wet for some reason. As he was regaining thought, the man walked up to Jason and began to kick him in the side, causing Jason to let out a loud yelp. The kicks were so powerful that they broke two of Jason's ribs. Jason was now wheezing in pain on the sand, screaming for help that hadn't come. Jason eventually let the dizziness consume him as he passed out from the pain. The man above him started to beat him even worse, punching, kicking, and even sexually assaulting Jason. He eventually left Jason as a bloody, bruised mess on the cold sand. Meanwhile, the rest of Faze was having a blast in a living space, playing Mafia for the stream. Silky, Ron, Max, Adapt, Lacy, and some of their group filmers were there, playing the game and trying to find out who the killer was. Everything was going well, except for the arguments when either Ron or Lacy got mad. But then, Lacy's filmer looked at chat and saw them spamming "Save Jason" or "Jason got attacked." His anxiety quickly rose as he knew how much Jason meant to the others. He discreetly pulled open Jason's stream on his phone, only to see a black screen. That didn't help his anxiety; it only made it grow. He then took out his AirPods, connecting them to his phone and blasting the stream's audio into his ears. What he heard made his blood run cold. Alarmed, he quickly closed Jason's stream and reopened the chat, showing it to Silky's filmer. Silky's filmer immediately had a distressed look on his face. "Did you check Jason's stream?" he asked. Lacy's filmer nodded with a concerned look on his face. Silky's filmer went into autopilot. "Hey, I need one of you to mute the stream," he said loudly. Kaysan started to walk to it, and the last thing the chat heard before the stream's audio was cut was Lacy's filmer saying, "They all already know about it, so why mute?" Kaysan muted the stream regardless. Silky's filmer went in front of everybody on the couch and said that he didn't want them to get too freaked out about what he was about to say. Ron told him to spit it out already. So Silky's filmer did; he stated that Jason got attacked on stream and that his stream was black. Lacy's filmer quickly added that the audio of the stream was just screams. In an instant, every person on that couch rushed upward and towards the door. They grabbed the keys to one of Ron's many cars and bolted out of the house, taking Ron's Tesla. Adapt was driving, with Silky in the passenger seat. Ron, Lacy, and Max were in the back. As they sped away, they were all consumed by worry and anger. Ron was practically screaming, "I'm gonna kill that f---er." Max was staring out the window, wondering how somebody could hurt Jason. Lacy was thinking about how he hoped Jason wasn't hurt too badly. Silky was seeing red, but he also had to remind himself that his first priority was to ensure Jason's safety, then go out for blood. Adapt was mostly calm, having grabbed his gun before they left, just in case. He knew that if things got out of hand, he could defend them, and it wasn't like it was the first time he'd had to call in a favor to cover something up. The beach was about 32 minutes away from the house they were renting, but Adapt made it in 20. As they arrived, they started to search for a light, knowing Jason would have one. They looked left and right but couldn't see it until Max spotted it. They all ran towards the light, Silky and Adapt being the fastest, but slowing down to make sure they all arrived together. As they approached, they saw Jason lying on the floor, and their hearts sank. Silky crouched by him, asking if he was okay, but there was no response. Max picked up the light, revealing Jason's sickening state. They all gasped. Lacy let out a loud sob, while Max turned over to puke. Ron was shaking with anger, seething with rage. Silky quickly checked for a pulse as Adapt scanned the area for any witnesses or the perpetrator. But there was nobody. Thankfully, there was a pulse, and they all knew it was quicker to drive to the hospital than to try for an ambulance in LA. Adapt crouched down and used a blanket to clean Jason up a bit. Silky helped him pick Jason up, and they all made their way to the car. Lacy grabbed the camera, and they slid Jason into the backseat, cradling his bleeding head. As Adapt sped to the nearest hospital, Silky yelled at Lacy to apply pressure to Jason's visible wounds. Eventually, they arrived at the hospital, and Jason was rushed in for treatment. The rest of Faze was left to deal with the aftermath, trying to make sense of what had happened to their friend.
