"An Unintentional Revelation"
Part 4
As they strolled through the park, the warm orange glow of the setting sun cast a romantic ambiance over the scenery. Shizuo couldn't help but steal glances at Vanitas, his heart racing with excitement. He had never been on a date before, not even with a woman. The thought made him blush as he gazed at Vanitas's profile, his eyes tracing the sharp lines of his features. Vanitas, oblivious to Shizuo's admiring gaze, continued to walk beside him, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. Shizuo's eyes followed the movement, his mind wandering to what lay beneath Vanitas's pants. He felt a flush rise to his cheeks as he thought about it, his pulse quickening with curiosity. "I've never been with a man before," Shizuo thought, his face burning with embarrassment. He tried to push the thought away, but it lingered, making him feel both anxious and intrigued. As they walked, Shizuo's distraction got the better of him, and he accidentally reached out to grab Vanitas's clothes, his hand brushing against the bulge in Vanitas's pants. Vanitas's eyes sparkled with amusement as he smirked, his gaze meeting Shizuo's. Shizuo's face turned bright red as he yanked his hand back, mortified. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Vanitas," he exclaimed, his voice trembling with embarrassment. Vanitas chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "No need to apologize, Shizuo. Accidents happen," he said, his voice low and soothing. Izaya, who had been watching from a distance, looked on in shock. "What the hell is wrong with Shizu-chan?" he thought, his eyes narrowing into a glare. He couldn't believe Shizuo's careless move, and a part of him felt a pang of jealousy at the sight of Vanitas's amused expression. As Shizuo tried to compose himself, Vanitas reached out and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, don't be embarrassed, okay? I'm not offended," Vanitas said, his voice filled with kindness. Shizuo looked up at Vanitas, his eyes searching for reassurance. "R-really?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. Vanitas nodded, his smile warm and genuine. "Really. Now, shall we continue our walk? The sunset is getting more beautiful by the minute," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. Shizuo nodded, still feeling a bit flustered, but Vanitas's kindness helped to ease his embarrassment. As they continued their walk, Izaya's gaze lingered on them, his expression thoughtful. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on between Shizuo and Vanitas, and a part of him felt a pang of concern for his friend's well-being. "I need to keep an eye on Shizu-chan," Izaya thought, his eyes never leaving Shizuo's figure. "He's getting too close to Vanitas, and I don't know if that's a good thing."
