**Chapter 2: Xander, the Biker Boy**

Part 2

The sun was setting over the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the small town of Willow Creek. Xander, a ruggedly handsome biker boy, was revving up his engine, getting ready to hit the open road. His short, wavy dark brown hair was tousled from the wind, and his dark blue eyes sparkled with excitement as he anticipated the thrill of the ride. As he rode, Xander's mind wandered to his girlfriend, Ren. They had been in a long-distance relationship since they left for college, and it had been tough. But they made it work, through regular phone calls, texts, and video chats. Xander smiled to himself, thinking about Ren's grumpy demeanor and her love of books. She was a bookworm, through and through, and he adored her for it. Xander pulled into his driveway, a sprawling estate with a large garage and a private airstrip. He was rich, the son of a wealthy businessman, and he had always lived a life of luxury. But despite his privileged upbringing, Xander was down-to-earth and kind, with a heart of gold. As he walked into his house, Xander was greeted by his personal assistant, Jenkins. "Welcome back, Mr. Xander," Jenkins said, with a bow. "I've got a package for you." Xander raised an eyebrow as he walked over to the package. It was a large box, wrapped in brown paper and twine. "What's this?" he asked, as he unwrapped the box. Inside, he found a stack of books, each one carefully selected and annotated. Xander's eyes lit up as he saw the titles - classics, bestsellers, and even a few rare collectibles. He knew that Ren would love them, and he couldn't wait to surprise her. Xander's thoughts turned to Ren, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. He had been thinking about her all day, and he couldn't wait to see her again. He made a mental note to call her as soon as possible, to make sure she was doing okay. As he looked through the books, Xander's mind began to wander to their relationship. They had been together for a while now, and he was grateful for every moment they had shared. He loved Ren's quirks and her grumpiness, and he adored her for her love of books. Xander's phone buzzed with an incoming call from Ren. He smiled as he answered it, his heart skipping a beat as he heard her voice. "Hey, bookworm," he said, trying to sound casual. "Just got back from a ride. How was your day?" Ren's voice was husky and sweet, and Xander felt a pang of affection. "It was fine," she said. "Just studying for exams. You know how it is." Xander chuckled. "Yeah, I do. But I'm glad you're doing okay. I've got a surprise for you, by the way." Ren's voice perked up. "What is it?" she asked, her curiosity piqued. Xander just laughed. "You'll have to wait and see," he said. "But trust me, you'll love it." As they talked, Xander couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He was counting down the days until Christmas break, when he would finally get to see Ren again. He had a plan to surprise her, to make her happy, and he couldn't wait to see her face light up. Xander's thoughts turned to the books he had bought, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He knew that Ren would love them, and he couldn't wait to see her reaction. He made a mental note to pack the books in his bag, so he could bring them with him when he went to see her. As the conversation came to a close, Xander felt a sense of satisfaction. He was one step closer to seeing Ren, and he couldn't wait to make her happy. He hung up the phone, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. He knew that the next few days would be a blur, but he was ready for it. He was ready to see Ren, to hold her, and to make her happy.
