"Unspoken Tensions"

Part 11

The door to Kenzy's room burst open, and Levi strode in, his eyes fixed intently on Erwin, who was still standing close to Kenzy. The air seemed to vibrate with tension as Levi's gaze narrowed, his jaw clenched in a mixture of anger and possessiveness. Erwin, sensing the sudden change in atmosphere, took a step back, his eyes flicking to Kenzy before returning to Levi. "Levi, what's going on?" he asked, his voice even, but with a hint of caution. Levi's eyes never left Erwin's face as he took a step closer, his movements fluid and controlled. "I think it's time for you to leave," he said, his voice low and menacing. Erwin stood his ground, but Kenzy could see the faintest hint of unease in his eyes. "I was just talking to Kenzy about her training," he said, his voice neutral. Levi's gaze flicked to Kenzy, and for a moment, she felt a spark of connection with him. But it was quickly extinguished as he turned back to Erwin. "I'm sure you were," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "But I think it's time for you to leave. Now." The air seemed to thicken with tension as Erwin and Levi locked eyes, the silence between them heavy with unspoken challenges. Kenzy felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that the situation was on the verge of escalating. Without warning, Levi reached out and pushed Erwin, his hand firm and unyielding. Erwin stumbled backward, his eyes flashing with anger, but he didn't retaliate. Instead, he took a deep breath and stepped back, his eyes never leaving Levi's face. "You're pushing your luck, Levi," Erwin said, his voice low and even. Levi's eyes flashed with anger, but he seemed to rein himself in, his chest heaving with suppressed emotion. "Just leave," he repeated, his voice tight with control. The silence that followed was oppressive, heavy with unspoken tensions. Kenzy felt like she was caught in the middle, unsure of what to do or say. Finally, Erwin turned and walked out of the room, leaving Kenzy alone with Levi. The silence between them was palpable, and Kenzy could feel the weight of Levi's gaze on her. She turned to him, her eyes searching for answers. "What's going on, Levi?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Levi's eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, she thought she saw something there, something that looked almost like vulnerability. But it was quickly replaced by his usual mask of control, and he turned away, leaving Kenzy with more questions than answers.
