**Chapter 5: Surrender and Confusion**

As Alex was pulled deeper into the bushes, he felt his resistance crumble. The initial fear and anger that had driven him to struggle against Ruby and Violet began to give way to a sense of confusion and curiosity. "We're not going to hurt you," she said. "We promise. We just want to... explore some possibilities." Alex felt a shiver run down his spine as Violet's words hung in the air.
