Chapter 1: The Unlikely Crush

Part 1

The sun was setting over the rolling hills of Scotland, casting a warm orange glow over the film set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, was taking a break from filming to grab a snack from the catering truck. As he walked, his muscles rippled beneath his worn jeans and faded t-shirt, a testament to his dedication to football in his free time. At just 21, Dan was already the youngest captain of the English national team, and his abs were the envy of many of his teammates. As he waited in line, he caught sight of Emma Watson, aka Hermione Granger, laughing with one of the production assistants. Her long, curly brown hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, and Dan couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest. He had known Emma for years, but lately, he'd started to notice her in a different way. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he found himself stealing glances at her more and more often. Emma, oblivious to Dan's admiring gaze, was chatting animatedly about her favorite book, a historical romance novel. Dan smiled to himself, remembering how book-smart and intelligent Emma was. He had always admired her for it, but now he found himself wanting to know more about her interests and hobbies outside of filming. As he reached the front of the line, Dan ordered a sandwich and a bottle of water, and made his way to a nearby bench to sit and eat. Emma, noticing him sitting alone, wandered over to join him. "Hey, Dan! What's up?" she asked, plopping down beside him on the bench. "Not much, Em," Dan replied, taking a bite of his sandwich. "Just trying to refuel for the next scene." Emma nodded sympathetically. "I know the feeling. I've got a big scene coming up too. I'm a bit nervous, to be honest." Dan put a reassuring hand on her arm. "You'll be brilliant, Em. You're always brilliant." Emma smiled, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thanks, Dan. That means a lot coming from you." As they sat there, Dan couldn't help but notice the way Emma's eyes crinkled at the corners when she smiled, or the way her hair fell in soft waves down her back. He felt a pang of... something... in his chest, and suddenly, he was aware of Emma in a way he never had been before. Little did Dan know, Emma had been harboring a secret crush on him for months, ever since they'd started filming the later Harry Potter movies. She'd tried to brush it off as a silly infatuation, but lately, she'd found herself wondering what it would be like to be with the charming, talented, and handsome Daniel Radcliffe. As they finished their snacks and headed back to set, Dan couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted between them. He wasn't sure what it was, or what it meant, but he couldn't help but feel excited to find out.
