**Entangled in Deceit**
Part 3
As I lay in bed that night, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was entangled in a web of secrets and lies. And I wasn't sure if I could ever find my way out. The conversation with Alex had left me feeling uneasy, and I knew I had to be more careful about my interactions with him from now on. The next morning, I arrived at the office, trying to focus on my work. But my mind kept wandering back to Jamie and our encounter. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking, and if he would text me again soon. As I sat at my desk, I noticed Alex walking towards me, a look of determination on his face. I tried to avoid eye contact, but he sat down next to me, his eyes fixed on mine. "We need to talk," he said, his voice low and serious. I knew I had to tread carefully, or he might suspect something. But before I could respond, our boss walked in, announcing a meeting to discuss a new project. As we all gathered around the conference table, I noticed Jamie walking in, a look of surprise on his face when he saw me. He quickly composed himself and took a seat across from me, his eyes locked on mine. I felt a spark of electricity run through my body, and I knew I had to be careful not to let my feelings show. The meeting was a blur, but I couldn't help but steal glances at Jamie. I knew I had to find a way to talk to him, to see if what we had was real. As the meeting adjourned, I found myself walking out of the conference room with Jamie, our shoulders brushing against each other. We walked to the break room, where we found ourselves alone. "Hey," he said, his voice low and husky. "I've been thinking about you all day." I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I've been thinking about you too," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. As we stood there, the tension between us grew thicker. I knew I had to make a move, or risk losing the connection we had. So I did the only thing that felt right - I leaned in and kissed him, my lips brushing against his. The kiss was like a spark of electricity, igniting a fire that had been building all day. We broke apart, gasping for air, and I knew I had to take it further. I took his hand, leading him to a nearby storage room. We stumbled inside, our lips locked in a passionate kiss. As we made out, I couldn't help but think of Alex, and the fact that I was essentially cheating on him. But I pushed the thought aside, focusing on the moment. Jamie's hands roamed my body, sending shivers down my spine. Just as we were getting lost in the moment, I heard the sound of footsteps outside the storage room. I quickly pulled away from Jamie, trying to compose myself. It was Alex, looking for something in the storage room. I quickly hid behind their desk, my heart racing with excitement and fear. Alex and Jamie walked in, unaware of my presence. "Hey, Jamie, I need to talk to you about the project," Alex said, his voice friendly. I held my breath as Jamie responded, trying not to make a sound. But as they talked, I couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. I was literally hiding behind their desk, with Alex and Jamie just a few feet away. It was a surreal moment, one that I knew I would never forget. As they continued to talk, I couldn't help but think about how I had managed to get myself into this situation. I was caught in a web of deceit, with two men who I had intimate connections with, and I wasn't sure how to escape. But for now, I was content to stay hidden, watching and waiting as the drama unfolded.
