Chapter 10: Leaving Isten Behind

Part 10

As Lyra and Mia finished getting ready for the day, they couldn't help but think about Isten, still trapped inside Lyra's womb. They had discussed what to do about him, but ultimately, they had decided to leave him inside. Lyra's hands gently stroked her belly, trying to soothe Isten and make him feel more comfortable. Mia stood in front of the mirror, smoothing out her blonde hair. "I'm going to head home and get some rest," she said, her voice soft. "My parents will be wondering where I am." Lyra nodded, her red hair bouncing with the movement. "Yeah, I should probably get going too," she said, her voice thoughtful. "But I'm not sure I can leave Isten behind." Mia turned to face Lyra, a concerned expression on her face. "We can't just keep him in there forever," she said, her voice firm. "But for now, I think it's for the best." Lyra nodded, her eyes meeting Mia's. "I know," she said, her voice soft. "It's just hard to think about leaving him trapped in here." As they stood there, they heard a faint stirring from inside Lyra's womb. Isten, still trapped, was making his presence known. Lyra's hands instinctively went to her belly once more. "Hey, it's okay," Lyra whispered, her voice gentle. "We're taking care of you." Mia nodded, her eyes filled with a mixture of concern and amusement. "We'll be back to check on you," she said, her voice teasing. Lyra chuckled, her red hair bouncing with the movement. "I'm sure you'll be eager to get back to your normal routine," she said, her voice wry. As they hugged each other goodbye, Lyra and Mia both knew that their lives would never be the same. They had made a decision that would change them forever, and now they had to live with it. As Lyra watched Mia leave, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. She had enjoyed their sleepover, and now it was over. But she knew that she would never forget this night, and the decision they had made. Lyra's hands gently stroked her belly once more, and she smiled softly. "It's just you and me now, Isten," she said, her voice whisper-soft. "Let's make the most of it." As she headed out the door, Lyra felt a sense of excitement and trepidation. She knew that her life was about to change in ways she couldn't even imagine, and she was both thrilled and terrified. The door closed behind her, and Lyra was gone. Mia was already on her way home, her mind reeling with thoughts of what had happened. They had left Isten behind, trapped in Lyra's womb, and now they had to live with the consequences. As the day went on, Lyra and Mia went about their daily lives, trying to make sense of what had happened. They knew that they would never forget this night, and the decision they had made. And as for Isten, he was left to adjust to his new, permanent residence inside Lyra's womb.
