**A Private Invitation**
Part 5
The day was still reeling for Eric after the events of the previous hour. He had tried to focus on his classes, but his mind kept drifting back to Maya and the way she had touched him. He couldn't believe what had happened, and a part of him was still trying to process the emotions that had surged through his body. As he walked down the hallway, lost in thought, he heard his name being called. "Eric, can I have a word with you?" He turned to see Maya standing in the doorway of her classroom, a warm smile on her face. Eric's heart skipped a beat as he hesitated for a moment. He didn't know what to expect, but a part of him was drawn to her. He nodded, and made his way to her classroom. As he entered, Maya closed the door behind him and motioned for him to take a seat. "Eric, I wanted to talk to you about your performance in my class," she said, her voice low and gentle. "I've noticed that you seem a bit...distracted lately." Eric nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He had been worried that she was going to bring up what had happened earlier, but instead, she seemed to be focusing on his schoolwork. "I've been having a bit of trouble keeping up with the material," he admitted, trying to play it cool. Maya nodded thoughtfully. "I think I can help you with that. I'd like to offer to tutor you privately, outside of class. Would you be interested?" Eric's heart skipped a beat as he considered her offer. He didn't know what to expect, but a part of him was excited at the prospect of spending more time with her. "I'd like that," he said finally, trying to sound casual. Maya smiled, and pulled out a piece of paper and pen. "Great. Let's schedule a time that works for both of us. How about tomorrow afternoon?" Eric nodded, feeling a sense of anticipation build inside him. He couldn't wait to see her again, to be alone with her. As they finalized the details, Eric couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He had no idea what was going to happen, but he knew that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't even imagine. Maya walked him to the door, her hand brushing against his arm as she handed him a schedule. "I'll see you tomorrow, Eric," she said, her voice low and husky. Eric felt a shiver run down his spine as he left her classroom, his heart racing with anticipation. He had a feeling that this was just the beginning of something, something that could either be amazing or disastrous. As he walked down the hallway, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held, and what Maya had planned for him. One thing was for sure, he was in for a wild ride.
