**Chapter 9: "The Snap of Oppression"**
Part 9
The snap of oppression came without warning, Tomura Shigaraki's voice ringing out across the space between us. "Mr. Compress now!" Before I could react, a figure emerged from the shadows, his movements swift and silent. Mr. Compress, one of the League of Villains' most feared members, sprang into action. His quirk, Compress, allowed him to manipulate space and distance, effectively creating a pocket dimension that could trap and immobilize his targets. In an instant, Mr. Compress closed the distance between us, his hands reaching out like claws. I tried to react, but it was too late. He grasped both Bakugo and me, his fingers closing around us like a vice. The world around us seemed to blur and distort, and I felt a strange, disorienting sensation wash over me. Bakugo struggled against the grip, but it was no use. Mr. Compress's quirk was too powerful, and we were trapped. Deku's eyes widened in shock as he realized what was happening, but he was too far away to intervene. The League of Villains erupted into a chorus of cheers and laughter, their faces twisted with cruel delight. Dabi's smile grew even wider, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, how... easy. You really thought you had a chance against us?" Tomura Shigaraki strolled forward, his grin still plastered on his face. "I told you, we have certain measures in place to ensure your cooperation. And now, you'll be coming with us. One way or another." As the reality of our situation sank in, I felt a surge of panic. We were trapped, with no clear way out. Bakugo's face twisted with anger, but even he seemed to realize that resistance was futile. For now, we were at the mercy of the League of Villains. Deku, however, seemed determined to act. His eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the fire of determination burning within them. He was already thinking of a plan, I was sure of it. But for now, we were trapped, and the League of Villains had the upper hand.
