Chapter 5: Kidnapping Attempt

Part 5

The darkness was palpable as I walked back to the dorms, my heart still racing from the excitement of the day's events. Osby whispered in my ear, "Be careful, I sense something off." I quickened my pace, but it was too late. Toga, Dabi, Shigaraki, and Overhaul emerged from the shadows, their eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. Toga's gaze was fixed on me, her eyes burning with an unnatural hunger. "I want your blood," she whispered, her voice low and menacing. Dabi, Shigaraki, and Overhaul closed in around me, their movements eerily synchronized. But before they could grab me, a group of students burst onto the scene. Midoriya Izuku, Bakugo Katsuki, and Kirishima Eijiro were among them, their faces set in determined expressions. "Hey, back off!" Midoriya shouted, his eyes flashing with determination. The villains sneered at the students, but they didn't back down. Bakugo charged forward, his fists clenched. "You're not taking her anywhere." Kirishima stood beside him, his eyes blazing with a fierce protectiveness. Toga snarled, baring her teeth. "You think you can protect her? She's mine." But the students held their ground, refusing to back down. Dabi, Shigaraki, and Overhaul exchanged uneasy glances, then retreated into the shadows, vanishing into the night. As the tension dissipated, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. The students surrounded me, their faces etched with concern. Midoriya asked, "Are you okay?" I nodded, still trying to process what had just happened. Bakugo grunted, his eyes never leaving mine. "We're not going to let anything happen to you." Kirishima nodded in agreement. "We're here for you, no matter what." I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards my classmates. But as I looked into their eyes, I saw something more - a spark of attraction, a glimmer of interest. Midoriya's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and Bakugo's gaze seemed to linger on me just a little bit longer. Osby whispered in my ear, "It seems you've made quite an impression on them." I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious. But as I looked at the students surrounding me, I knew that I was in good hands. As we walked back to the dorms, the students chatted and joked, their easy camaraderie making me feel more at ease. But I couldn't shake off the feeling that the villains were still out there, watching and waiting. I glanced over my shoulder, but the darkness seemed empty. Osby whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye out." I nodded, feeling a sense of reassurance. As we approached the dorms, Todoroki caught up with us, his eyes fixed on me. "I'm glad you're okay," he said, his voice low and gentle. I smiled, feeling a little flutter in my chest. But before I could respond, Bakugo butted in, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Yeah, we're not going to let anyone hurt her." Kirishima chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. The students teased each other, their banter making me laugh. As we entered the dorms, I felt a sense of belonging, of being part of a group. And I knew that I would do whatever it took to protect them, and to keep them by my side. As I settled into my room, Osby whispered in my ear, "It seems you've made quite an impact on the students. But be careful, the villains are still out there, waiting for their chance to strike." I nodded, my senses on high alert, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
