The Moment of Truth
Part 120
Deku's warm lips gently brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I felt my eyes widen in surprise, and my cheeks flush with a deep, fiery red. My heart skipped a beat as I struggled to process what was happening. Deku's kiss was soft and gentle, but it sent a wave of emotions crashing over me. As I stood there, frozen in shock, Deku's lips moved slightly, deepening the kiss. I could feel his tongue tracing the edges of my mouth, and I involuntarily parted my lips, allowing him to enter. The sensation was overwhelming, and I felt like I was drowning in a sea of emotions. My mind was a jumbled mess of thoughts and feelings, but my body seemed to be reacting on its own. My hands fluttered up to Deku's chest, and I could feel the rapid beating of his heart beneath his shirt. I didn't know what to do, so I just stood there, letting Deku guide me through the kiss. As the kiss continued, I felt myself getting more and more flustered. My face was on fire, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. I was vaguely aware of the people around us, but they seemed to be fading into the background. All that mattered was Deku and the kiss we were sharing. Suddenly, Deku pulled back, and I stumbled backward, gasping for air. My eyes flew open, and I met Deku's gaze, which was shining with excitement and a hint of nervousness. I could see the question in his eyes, asking if I was okay, if I had felt the same way. I tried to speak, but my voice caught in my throat. I cleared my throat, trying to compose myself, but my face still felt like it was on fire. Deku took a step closer to me, his eyes never leaving mine, and I could sense the uncertainty in his movements. Mina's voice cut through the silence, "Wow, Deku, I didn't see that coming!" Kacchan's muttered something under his breath, and I could sense the disappointment and hurt in his tone. I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that Deku's choice had affected him deeply. I looked around the room, trying to take it all in. Everyone was staring at us, their faces a mix of surprise, shock, and curiosity. I felt like I was going to collapse under the weight of their gaze. Deku's hand reached out, and he gently brushed a strand of hair behind my ear. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. I nodded, still trying to process what had just happened. Deku's kiss had left me breathless and flustered, and I had no idea what the future held. All I knew was that nothing would ever be the same again.
