"A Sudden Transformation"

Part 20

As Lyra walked through the Ministry of Magic office, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She had been to the office several times before, but today, it seemed different. The usually bustling corridors were eerily quiet, and the few wizards and witches she saw seemed to be watching her with an intensity that made her skin crawl. She had just finished a meeting with the Minister himself, discussing the latest developments in the wizarding world, when she saw him - one of the men who had transformed her into a man all those months ago. He was standing by the window, his eyes fixed on her with a mixture of curiosity and fascination. Lyra felt a shiver run down her spine as he took a step closer to her. She could see the surprise in his eyes as he took in her appearance - her long hair, her feminine features, her...well, her femaleness. "Ah, you're...you're changing," he stammered, his eyes wide with wonder. Lyra didn't understand what he meant, but before she could ask, he waved his wand and muttered a few words under his breath. Lyra felt a strange sensation wash over her, and suddenly, she was back to being a man. She looked down at her body in shock, feeling a wave of panic wash over her. How could he do this? She thought she was finally free from that spell. The man, however, seemed to have gone crazy. His eyes were wild, and his hair was disheveled. He was muttering to himself, waving his wand wildly in the air. Teddy, who had been watching from afar, suddenly stepped forward, his face furious. "What are you doing?" he demanded, his voice low and menacing. The man didn't seem to hear him, too caught up in his own madness. Teddy strode forward, his eyes fixed on the man's wand. "I think you've had enough magic for one day," Teddy said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. With a swift motion, Teddy disarmed the man, sending his wand flying out of his hand. The man let out a cry of rage, but Teddy was ready for him. "You're not going to hurt anyone else today," Teddy said, his eyes blazing with determination. Lyra, still trying to wrap her head around what was happening, felt a sense of gratitude towards Teddy. She was still trying to process her transformation back into a man, but she knew she couldn't let this man harm anyone else. As the Ministry of Magic guards arrived to take the man away, Lyra turned to Teddy, her eyes searching for answers. "Why did he do that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Teddy's face was still set in a determined expression. "I don't know," he said, "but we're going to find out."
