Chapter 1: "City of Love and Dreams"
Part 1
As the plane touched down at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Dorothy and Lucas couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. They had been planning this trip for months, and finally, they were here, in the city of love and romance - Paris. Their honeymoon was supposed to be a celebration of their love, a chance to relax and get to know each other better after their whirlwind wedding. Dorothy, a successful businesswoman in her late 30s, had always been independent and strong-willed. Lucas, a charming and handsome man in his 40s, had swept her off her feet with his romantic gestures and kind heart. As they made their way through customs and collected their luggage, Dorothy couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the grandeur of the airport. Lucas, sensing her unease, took her hand and smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, my love," he said, his voice low and soothing. "We're going to have an amazing time here. Just relax and enjoy the ride." As they exited the airport, they were greeted by the bright sunlight and the sound of chatter in French. Dorothy's high school French came flooding back, and she attempted to order a taxi in her best accent. Lucas chuckled good-naturedly and intervened, using his own rusty French to secure a charming little taxi with a friendly driver. Their hotel was a quaint little boutique in the heart of the Latin Quarter, with a view of the Eiffel Tower that took Dorothy's breath away. They spent the afternoon exploring the neighborhood, holding hands, and giggling like newlyweds. As the sun began to set, they decided to take a romantic stroll along the Seine, soaking up the atmosphere and the beautiful views of the city. As they walked, Lucas couldn't help but steal glances at Dorothy, who looked stunning in her yellow sundress and sunglasses. He felt grateful to have her by his side and couldn't wait to see what the rest of their trip had in store. That night, as they sat down to a delicious dinner at a cozy little bistro, Dorothy couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She had been looking forward to this trip for so long, and now that it was finally here, she was starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Lucas, sensing her unease, reached across the table and took her hand. "Hey, everything okay?" he asked, his eyes concerned. Dorothy smiled and nodded. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just...I don't know, I'm just really happy to be here with you, I guess." Lucas smiled back and squeezed her hand. "I'm happy too, Dorothy. I love you." As they finished their dinner and headed back to their hotel, Dorothy couldn't help but wonder what the rest of their trip had in store. She had a feeling that this was going to be a honeymoon she would never forget. Little did she know, Lucas had other plans. As they settled into their cozy hotel room, Lucas turned to her with a look in his eyes that made her heart skip a beat. And in that moment, Dorothy knew that their honeymoon was about to take a dramatic turn.
