**Chapter 2: The Transformation**

Part 2

The darkness that had fallen over the U.A. High School campus seemed to mirror the sense of unease that had settled in Deku's stomach. Kacchan's words, low and menacing, sent a shiver down his spine. He had never seen his friend like this before, and he didn't know how to react. "Kacchan, what's going on?" Deku asked, trying to keep his voice calm. "You're scaring me." Kacchan's eyes seemed to flash with a strange, otherworldly light, and for a moment, Deku thought he saw something in them that he couldn't quite explain. But then, just as quickly, it was gone, and Kacchan's expression returned to normal. "I don't know, Deku," Kacchan said, his voice shaking slightly. "I just feel...different. Like something inside me is stirring." Deku's concern for his friend grew as he watched Kacchan's body begin to undergo a terrifying transformation. Kacchan's muscles began to shift and contort, his skin taking on a pale, almost translucent quality. His eyes, once a bright, piercing brown, now seemed to glow with an unnatural light. As the transformation accelerated, Kacchan's body began to change in ways that Deku couldn't understand. His limbs lengthened and morphed, his fingers ending in razor-sharp claws. His face elongated, his jaw stretching into a pointed muzzle. Deku stumbled backward, horror etched on his face. "Kacchan, what's happening to you?" he whispered. Kacchan's voice, now a low, menacing growl, sent shivers down Deku's spine. "I don't know, Deku," he snarled. "But I think I'm becoming something...else." The air was filled with the sound of Kacchan's labored breathing, and Deku could see the fear and confusion in his eyes. He knew he had to do something, but he didn't know what. With a surge of adrenaline, Deku lunged forward, grabbing Kacchan's arm and trying to hold him steady. "Kacchan, snap out of it!" he shouted. "You're scaring me!" For a moment, Kacchan's eyes locked onto Deku's, and he seemed to recognize his friend. His expression softened, and he looked at Deku with a hint of pleading in his eyes. "Deku...help me," Kacchan whispered, his voice barely audible. Deku nodded, determination etched on his face. "I'll help you, Kacchan," he promised. "We'll get through this together." But as he looked at Kacchan's transformed body, Deku couldn't shake off the feeling that he was in over his head. He had no idea what was happening to Kacchan, or how to reverse it. All he knew was that he had to be there for his friend, no matter what. And as he stood there, holding Kacchan's arm and trying to make sense of the chaos around him, Deku steeled himself for the challenges that lay ahead. The darkness seemed to close in around them, and Deku could feel the weight of the unknown pressing down on him. But he refused to back down, knowing that he had to be strong for Kacchan. As the night wore on, Deku and Kacchan stood there, frozen in a moment of uncertainty, their friendship about to be put to the test in ways they never could have imagined. The transformation was far from over, and Deku could only wonder what the future held for his friend, and for their bond.
