**Chapter 1: The Day They Left Me**
Part 1
I'll never forget this day, the day my world came crashing down around me. It started like any other day, with the warm sunshine peeking through the windows of our cozy little house. The four hotels, my loving husband, and I had plans to go out for a romantic dinner tonight. We were going to try that new restaurant that just opened up downtown. They were excited, and I could sense their enthusiasm as they busied themselves in the kitchen, making us a light breakfast before we headed out. As the morning progressed, I noticed that they seemed a bit off. They were usually so full of energy and life, but today, they seemed subdued. They kept glancing at me with an expression of concern, and I brushed it off, thinking they were just being their usual caring selves. It wasn't until we were sitting on the couch, watching TV, that they suddenly clutched their stomach and grimaced in pain. "Something's ain't right, sweetie," they said, their voice laced with worry. I immediately jumped up and grabbed my phone to call an ambulance, but they grasped my hand, holding me back. "No, Noa, just...just sit with me," they whispered, their eyes locking onto mine. I could feel their hand trembling in mine, and I knew something was seriously wrong. As I looked into their eyes, I saw a deep sadness and fear that I'd never seen before. Their pulse was slowing down, and their skin was becoming pale. "I love you, Noa," they whispered, their voice barely audible. "You mean everything to us." Tears began streaming down my face as I tried to process what was happening. They were my rock, my soulmate, and now they were slipping away from me. I screamed for them to hold on, to not leave me, but it was too late. Their hand slipped away from mine, and their eyes froze, open and sad. The next few minutes were a blur as I frantically called for an ambulance and tried to revive them. The paramedics arrived quickly, and they worked tirelessly to bring them back, but it was no use. They were gone. I was consumed by grief, screaming and crying uncontrollably as the reality of the situation sunk in. The paramedics tried to comfort me, but I was beyond consolation. I was in shock, unable to comprehend that the love of my life was gone. As the ambulance took them away, I was left standing alone in our house, feeling lost and shattered. I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right, that this was all just a terrible nightmare that I would wake up from. But as the hours passed, the reality of their death began to sink in, and I was overcome with a sense of despair. I couldn't imagine living without them by my side. The hospital. The doctor's words were a distant echo in my mind as I lay in the hospital bed, trying to process the events of the day. I had been in shock, and now that I was coming out of it, the pain was starting to set in. I couldn't wait to get back home, to hold their memory close and try to make sense of what had happened. Little did I know, my life was about to take a dramatic turn, one that would change everything forever.
