Island of Dreams

Part 20

Harry burst through the door of their flat, a wide grin spreading across his face as he exclaimed, "Girls, I've got the most amazing news!" Hermione and Pansy looked up from their respective activities, curiosity etched on their faces. Hermione was engrossed in a book on advanced Potion-making, while Pansy was busy sketching in her art journal. Harry took a deep breath, hardly able to contain his excitement. "I just got back from Gringotts, and everything is finalized. The gold has been transferred, and we have the deed to the property." He paused, savoring the moment. "We're moving to Boracay!" Hermione's eyes widened, and she set her book aside. "Boracay? Harry, isn't that in the Philippines?" Pansy looked up, her pencil hovering above her paper. "The Philippines? Harry, what about our lives here? Our friends, our family?" Harry nodded, anticipating their concerns. "I know it's a big change, but think about it. A beachfront mansion, a warm climate, and crystal-clear waters. We can start fresh, leave the past behind, and build a new life together." He walked over to the window, gesturing for the girls to join him. "Just imagine waking up every morning to the sound of waves gently lapping against the shore, and spending our days exploring the island, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the beach." Pansy's expression softened, and she set her pencil down. "It sounds...idyllic, Harry." Hermione, however, looked more hesitant. "But what about our friends, Harry? Ron, Ginny, Luna...we can't just leave them behind." Harry turned to face her, his expression serious. "I know it's hard, but we can stay in touch through owls and Portkeys. And who knows, maybe we'll even make new friends on the island. We can build a new community, one that's just for us." He smiled, trying to reassure her. "We'll make it work, Hermione. I promise." As Harry spoke, Pansy got up from her chair and walked over to him. She slipped her hand into his, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I think it sounds like an adventure, Harry. And I'm in." Hermione watched Pansy, a small smile playing on her lips. She took a deep breath, and her expression softened. "Alright, Harry. If it's what you truly want, then I'm in too." The three of them stood there, hands entwined, as the reality of their new life began to sink in. The thought of leaving behind the familiar streets of London, the wizarding world they knew, and the comfort of their friends and family, was daunting. But as they gazed out at the city, they knew that they were ready for a new chapter in their lives, one that would be filled with sun-kissed beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the promise of a new beginning. As they stood there, Harry pulled out the parchment with Mr. Santos' message and read it aloud to the girls. Hermione's eyes widened as she listened, and Pansy's grip on Harry's hand tightened. The message seemed to seal their fate, and they knew that they were meant to be on this island, together. With a sense of excitement and trepidation, they began to envision their new life on the island, and the possibilities that lay ahead. The sound of the waves, the smell of the salty air, and the warmth of the sun on their skin, all beckoned them to a new adventure, one that would change their lives forever.
