"A Change in Altitude"
Part 50
As they headed to Glasgow Airport, Jacquie and Noah continued their conversation about their future plans. The excitement of their upcoming vacation was palpable, and they both felt a sense of relief wash over them as they left the stress of their daily lives behind. "I've been thinking," Jacquie said, turning to Noah with a thoughtful expression. "Maybe this is the perfect opportunity for us to take control of our lives and make some real changes." Noah nodded, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. "I've been thinking the same thing," he said. "We've been feeling stuck for a while now, and I think it's time we took the reins and started making some decisions about our future." Jacquie smiled, feeling a sense of excitement building inside her. "I've been thinking about Next Step," she said, referring to Noah's former basketball team. "I know they had a tough season, coming off a loss in regionals and having their worst year ever. But I think with the right guidance and support, they could turn things around." Noah's eyes lit up with interest. "You think we could help them?" he asked. Jacquie nodded. "Why not?" she said. "We've been through tough times before, and we've always come out on top. I think we could bring a fresh perspective to the team and help them get back on track." Noah considered her words, his mind racing with possibilities. "You know, I've been hearing rumors that Next Step is planning on shutting down," he said. "If that's the case, maybe we could be the ones to take over and bring new life to the team." Jacquie's eyes widened with excitement. "That would be amazing," she said. "We could make it our own, create a new vision and bring in new talent. The possibilities are endless." As they pulled into the airport parking lot, Noah turned to Jacquie with a smile. "You know, I think this could be the start of something big," he said. "Are you ready to take the leap and see where it takes us?" Jacquie nodded, feeling a sense of determination building inside her. "I've never been more ready," she said. Together, they got out of the car and headed into the airport, ready to leave their worries behind and start a new chapter in their lives. Little did they know, their future was about to get a whole lot more interesting.
