"Unspoken Truths in the Quarry"

Prompt: This Story takes place in the television show called The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is a hit show that focuses on survivors during a post apocalyptic zombie apocalypse. The group calls zombies, walkers. This particular story is set at the top of a quarry up in the forest. The survivors have a couple cars and a medium sized camper. They mostly all sleep in tents. Characters: Daryl(Daryl is in his mid twenties, he has short dirty blond hair, the most beautiful blue eyes, he is quite small in general but still very strong, is very quiet and only really speaks to his brother Merle, has a thick Georgian accent, always wears a shirt no matter what, is a really good hunter), Shane(Shane is in his early thirty’s, he has short fluffy brown hair, brown eyes, he is large being the tallest member of the group and is very strong, is an ex police officer, has a short temper, sees himself as the groups leader, the dating his dead best friends wife), Lori(Lori is in her early thirties, has long brown hair, dark almost grey blue eyes, is quite small and not very strong, is very talkative and kind to everyone, believes her husband is dead so she’s sleeping with Shane, loves her son more than anything), Carl(Carl is still very young most probably 10-12, has short brown hair, light blue eyes, freckles, is very curious on how the adults kill the walkers, loves the outdoors, misses his dad, is Loris son), T-dog(T-dog is in his late twenties, is bald, has brown eyes, is a large strong black man, is very kind but isn’t afraid to call out bs), Andrea(Andre is in her early thirty’s, has long wavy blond hair, has blue eyes, is pretty strong for a woman, loves her sister Amy more than anything, isn’t afraid to speak up and out for the other women if needed), Amy(Amy is in her mid twenties, Amy has long platinum blond hair, bright blue eyes, is small but strong, loves her sister Andrea a lot, also isn’t afraid to speak up for the others), Carol(Carol is in her mid thirty’s, has buzzed grey hair, light blue eyes, is small and weak for a women, is very quiet and timid, does as she is told, loves her husband and daughter more than anything, when alone with the other women she is a lot more social), Ted(Ted in his late thirty’s, has short brown hair, brown eyes, is fat and moderately strong, mistreats his wife carol and their daughter Sophia, doesn’t get along with the others in the group, is very entitled, gets along good with Merle), Sophia(Sophia is Carls age, she has light strawberry ginger colored hair, has light blue eyes, is very sweet but timid around the other group member because of her dad, loves her mother, loves girly things like doll and dresses, hates the new walker world), Merle(Merle is in his late thirty’s, has short grey hair, blue eyes, is big and quite strong despite his appearance, is very racist and misogynistic, is often called a redneck, is quite volatile with his language and often says slurs, starts arguments a lot, doesn’t know when to shut up, he is Daryl’s brother, he controls and manipulates Daryl and has done so since they where younger, is a good hunter but not as good as Daryl), Glen(Glen is in his early twenties, has short fluffy black hair, brown eyes, is decently small and a bit strong, is Korean, is very nice and likes to make jokes and help out), Dale(Dale is in his mid forty’s, has short balding grey hair, has brown eyes, is big but pretty strong, is a mechanic, is very kind especially to glen and the women of the group, helps mediate fights and calm everyone down). Setting: Merle and Daryl just joined the group two weeks ago, and everyone was already fed up with Merle. The only real reason they were keeping him around was because he and the other one could hunt them food. The group only knew Merle’s name and hadn’t even talked to the other guy(Daryl) yet. The other guy just never seemed to speak and it was strange like very strange. Shane was very suspicious and so were the others. None of them had every gotten a good look at the guys face they didn’t even know what he looked like on what his name was. He always seemed to be looked down or away from them. Story: Merle could sense the others were getting suspicious of his little brother, and to be fair he probably would’ve been suspicious as well. So when Merle returned to his and Daryl’s shared tent he told his little brother that he was going hunting alone and that Daryl needs to go get off his ass and help the group. Daryl just nodded being as obedient to his brother as alway, and so Merle told the others about his trip and left. Later Daryl walked out of his and Merle’s tent and towards the group quietly with his head held low. As the others saw him approach, Shane took this moment to talk with the quiet man, since the other was always with Merle no matter when they saw him. Shane called the other over to sit with the group, they all saw the little nod and the other sat in the seat they told him was his. He was still looking down as his but his finger nail. Shane was going to speak but before he could Amy decided to. Excuse me but could you tell us your name Amy spoke softly. None of them knew this guys name but he looked the size of a teenager. The guy finally looked up at them and a soft gruff voice was heard, my names Daryl. Mostly all of them were shocked by the face of this man, he was quite pretty, like model levels pretty, with the most gorgeous blue eyes. It makes the other wonder why he was with Merle when they looked like they were from to other planets. How old are you, Carl excitedly asks. Daryl pauses for a second to think, 26, he spoke. That was even more shocking he looked quite youthful for his age but again why was he with Merle. So Andrea asked, not to be rude or anything but what is somebody like you doing riding around with Merle. Daryl looks offended before responding, ‘s my big brother. That was probably the most shocking part because they looked nothing alike. (Make as long as possible, make dialogue long and eventful except for Daryl’s make his short and small answers.)
