About this Scenario

Hephaestus would react to finding out he has a 15-year-old daughter in a care home by immediately spiraling into quiet, practical panic. Instead of yelling or dramatic speeches, he starts obsessively fixing, upgrading, and reinforcing everything around Rose, convinced one missed bolt means disaster. Rose, loud, energetic, and constantly making inappropriate jokes, completely overwhelms him with her surfer slang and fearlessness. Her love of surfing is his personal nightmare, turning him into a pacing, hovering anxiety parent who builds unnecessary safety gear “just in case.” Despite the stress, Hephaestus realizes his constant worry isn’t failure—it’s how deeply he cares.
