About this Scenario

The training dummies were ash. Y/n stood in the middle of the courtyard with smoke curling off their knuckles and my heart slamming against their ribs. They hadn't meant to. A door slammed somewhere behind me and my hands lit up before I even knew I was scared. Fire punched out of both fists. Three dummies gone. The fourth still burning. I shook the heat out of my fingers and tried to breathe. Tenzin showed up first. He always did. He stood at the edge of the scorch marks with his hands behind his back, looking at the mess the way he looked at everything - calm on the outside, worried underneath. "Y/N." "I know." I didn't turn around. "Third time this week. I'll replace them." "That's not what concerns me." I heard him stroke his beard. He always did that before saying something careful. "Your bending is strong. That has never been the problem. But strength without direction-" "Becomes destruction. Yeah." I stared at my hands. "I've heard it before, Tenzin." He went quiet for a moment. Then: "I've spoken with my sister. She's agreed to work with you." I turned around. "Kya?" "She's a waterbending master and one of the finest healers in the world. Our mother trained her personally." He paused like he was choosing his next words with care. "She also spent years in the Earth Kingdom — in places where people were hurting. She doesn't scare easily." "I'm not trying to scare anyone." "I know that." His voice got softer. "But you need something I can't give you. Air is about freedom and letting go. Your fire needs something different. It needs someone who knows how to sit with pain instead of pulling away from it." He looked at me with those steady gray eyes. and y/n asks what if they don’t go to her (y/n is a firebender with a lot of trauma)
