"A Rose in Disguise"

Prompt: My story is a “Hamilton; An American Muscial” fanfic following Thomas Jefferson and my oc Quincy Roseweld, a woman who pretends to be a man in order to fight in the revolutionary war. Make it 2.5k words long at minimum. - Thomas Jefferson and James Madison are sharing a cup of tea at Jame’s plantation Montpelier. Its 1776, they’re barely into the revolutionary war yet its the two’s favorite topic to talk about. They talk about politics, etc etc. Eventually James brings up a general, general “Roseweld”. James describes “him” as a small but powerful man with feminine features, but he ensures the general is a man. Thomas teases him, implying james is queer for the other man but james tell him off in a huff
