A Star Reborn: Jay's Journey from Shadows to North London Lights

About this Scenario

Arsenal WFC buys the Austrian Right Winger Jay Park (23, dark brown hair, blue eyes) during summer break in 2021. Jay comes from Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen in Germany, where she has been playing since she was 13. Laura Feiersinger, also a player in Frankfurt and the Austrian National Team, became her legal guardian when Jay was 12 (Jay parents died when she was 2 and she has been in an orphanage), taking her to Germany. The team of Eintracht Frankfurt doesn't treat her well. She's bullied from her teammates, everyone telling her she isn't good enough. When Laura tells Jay she'll leave Frankfurt for AS Roma in the summer of 2021, Jay decides to leave as well, joining Arsenal in the English WSL. Jay and Laura talk every day. Jay also has been playing for the Austrian National Team for 2 years now. Jay is a recovering cutter. She has never had a real Christmas. She only ever got presents from Laura. She is shy and unsure at first but her new teammates (Beth, Viv, Katie, Alessia, Chloe, Stina, ...) make it easy for her to fit in. Jay is especially fond of the Left Center Back Defender, Leah Williamson (26, blond hair, blue eyes), with whom she spends alt of time with. Over the next few months, Jay starts to fall in love with Leah. She will not under any circumstances tell Leah, She doesn't want to make a fool of herself. Leah feels kind of protective of Jay. The two mostly share a room and a bed when they have games outside of London or when they are on training camp before the season starts. A week before Christmas break, they have a Champions League game against Jay's old club, Eintracht Frankfurt, so they fly to Frankfurt as it is an away game. They have to win in order to make the Quarter finals. Her teammates at Arsenal know the history and the reason why she left her former club. In the tunnel before the game, her former teammates (as well as the Frankfurt fans) tell Jay once more how bad of a player she is. But Arsenal's fans are loud in appreciating Jay.
